Nestled amidst scenic views, Silk Path Grand Sapa Resort & Spa is celebrated for its elegant yet cozy atmosphere. Guests have called out the hotel's pristine cleanliness and spacious rooms with stunning mountain vistas.
The comprehensive amenities, including a spa and gym, along with a scrumptious breakfast, are popular features that enhance guest experiences. Although the hotel's service is lauded for its professionalism and the handy shuttle service is appreciated for its convenience to the town center, some visitors feel that certain services are not as cost-effective as expected.

A surprisingly wonderful 4-night stay in Silkpath, and all the good reviews on this hotel was spot on. High on the hill with magnificent views of both Fansipan Mountain and Sapa town, it was a perfect location to relax and enjoy the cool air. On a clear day, we can see the cable cars going to and fro the Fansipan peak, and if not, I can just sit and gaze at the clouds passing by with their various formations.
.
The rooms we had were clean and well maintained, the hotel grounds were also immaculate with floral and fauna, and the entire hotel was peppered with traditional Hmong handicraft and related photos to depict the local presence. Many instagrammable spots for those who are interested.
And there is the attentive and good service from the staff. Special mention to Daniel at the front desk, who had assisted us with many requests and also to Steve, the GM, who never failed to greet all the guests whenever he sees any.
Access to Sapa town was also a breeze, with the buggies provided by the hotel on a regular basis.
We had our Christmas eve dinner at Olivio, the Italian restaurant, and were presently surprised by the quality of the food served. The food at the All-Day dining cafe was delicious as well.
In summary, I will definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here should we visit Sapa again, and in addition, will also try the other Silkpath Hotels in Vietnam.

This is a very nice hotel, fitted out to a high standard and is very spacious
We stayed during the Sapa winter time and when the Corona virus was prevalent so it was not so busy, it was always very foggy, we never got to see Fanzipan!
The bedroom was very spacious and comfortable with an enormous bed, also a very large bath
The room also had a balcony but unfortunately it was too cold to use it.
Breakfasts were very nice, good selection and service
We also used the Italian restaurant where the food was lovely, but there was only one other couple eating there so not much ambiance,
The pool & gym area was nice but the water temperature in the pool was just too cold for me to enjoy it for more that a minute or two. The gym was well kitted out and the equipment was modem and looked new. I never saw anyone else use the gym whilst I was there
The spa was very nice, really nicely laid out anc provided great massages
The was a coffee shop which was nice but again it was very cold in there, I saw no one else use the coffee shop whilst we were there
The free shuttle service into the town centre was great
My overall impression was a really lovely hotel that has been fitted out to the highest standard, fantastic staff who couldn’t do enough for you, but the hotel lacked a bar area and seemed soulless, maybe it picks up in summertime?

We stayed at the moutain resort Silk Path Grand Sapa Resort & Spa, Sapa, Vietnam, from Oct 14 to 17, 2022.
Edward, Front Office Manager, and his team were very efficient with the checkin and checkout processes, requests for shuttles (to/from Sapa center) as well as communicating/translating with the local taxi driver for one of our tours.
Staff in the Samu Restaurant were very attentive; cleared used plates very quickly especially during breakfasts (busy weekend). Mr Adrian Chua, Executive Chef, was constantly ensuring that food was constantly replenished; very hands-on.
Quality of food was good; value for $$$. We had 1 lunch, 3 breakfasts and 1 hotpot dinner hosted by the General Manager. Good food with amazing views.
Bedrooms and living room are beautifully and elegantly furnished. Clean and comfortable with views of the gardens and mountains.
Issue was attended to very quickly. There was no power in our living room one morning. The electrician was at our door in under 5 mins after reporting the problem. I was pleasantly amazed.
We did a massage session at the Chi Spa, but didn't have time to use the steam and sauna facilities. We were not disappointed with the therapists' skills. Ambience and cleanliness of the spa facilities are of luxury resort standard.
The entire resort is extremely well maintained with beautiful gardens. No problems with WIFI connection. All its staff, including the General Manager and the Executive Chef, are very hospitable. Quality and service are commendable and definitely of luxury category.
I am extremely glad that we went with Silk Path Grand Sapa Resort & Spa for our 1st trip to Sapa.

We have a 4 nights stays in this hotel. It was the best valued hotel ever booked!
Situated on a hill top away from the dusty town center where most hotels are.
You can wonder around the large garden and breathe the fresh mountain air. The room was perfectly large and clean. Bed was very comfortable.
They provide a time table free shuttle buggy ride to town and back.
The breakfast spread was super.
Restaurant serve very delicious Vietnamese and European food for lunch and dinner too. Surprisingly it was worth it for the quality and quantity they served.
The management team and service staffs are always around to make us feel so comfortable. Especially GM, Steve Tan, surprise to see him helping staff to served and cleaned tables. During which he still move around tabes talking to resort guests. He even recommend good vietnamese coffee and food too.
Front office manager, Edward Tung, an ex Sapa treker guide, gave us many history of difference tribes living in Sapa. He always smiling and helpful. At the reception, Miss Moon was so nice to leaded us to our room and also walk us around the surrounding of the gardens and hotel facilities and pointed to the mountain peak point of Fanispan. Edward and Moon always asking us about our plan for the day. They indeed gave lots of idea of what to do and happening in the twon square during TET celebration.
Overall most of the staffs was very nice always smiling and greets every guests.
Many thanks to GM Steve Tan, front desk manager, Edward Tung, reception, Moon and FnB, Leziel and Excutive Chef and also all the staffs at Silk Path Resort.
This hotel is just too good to give it a miss.. Most valued 5stars hotel with 6 stars services.
Will definitely stay in the resort.... if ever we be back in Sapa.

I chose this hotel based on the perfect reviews and I will probably echo much that has been said .
I have to say the pictures don’t do it justice you really have to see it with your own eyes to see the quality of this property and experience the 5 Star treatment you get there .
If you book this hotel rest assured you are staying at the best hotel in Sapa .
It was the first time being in Sapa and was blown away with the scenery but I must say I would go back to Sapa just for the purpose of staying at Silk Path .
The Hotel covers a lot of ground with beautiful flower gardens and is built into the side of a hill and is unique as the lobby to your floor is on ground level and you take the elevator down to your room .
The rooms are large and tastefully decorated,Spotlessly clean ,perfect rain shower ,international TV channels and the bed and pillows incredibly comfortable.
The balcony was very large and is nice to sit and over look the beautiful gardens .
The pool is very nice and is indoors which is good cause we went on the rainy day great place to relax on those wash out days Sapa gets .
I recommend for sure you book with breakfast the selection of local and western dishes was amazing and the staff will cook just about anything you can imagine.
Sitting at breakfast in the elegant dining room overlooking the Sapa valley was the highlight of the day .
The location is perfect it sits up on a hill perched over the town of Sapa and there is a hotel shuttle that goes at the top of every hour into the town centre and is only a 5 minute ride .
Lastly all the staff were the friendliest I have ever seen at a hotel with even the cleaners and gardeners welcoming you with a smile .
The Manger Steve Tan was very attentive to all guest making sure all their needs were taken care of .

Situated on top of a hill with an excellent view of the city and mountains. Beautifully furnished rooms with a view of mountains thru thick rose bushes growing on the room balcony.
Mr. Steve, GM greeted us on arrival and gave us pointers on what to do in Sapa. The holiday was more memorable because of Mr. Steve's inputs and constant chats we had during our stay.
The food in the hotel restaurant was amazing. Chef Jenny went out of her way to create special dishes for us. The breakfast had a wide array of Western and Vietnamese cuisine. Once again Jenny was on hand to create special local dishes for us to try.
Edward and the front office staff were courteous and ever so helpful and were on hand to cater to our needs.
Thank you guys for a most memorable holiday and I can say without hesitation the very best we have had in Vietnam.

Exceptional and wonderful service from the staff esp the GM, Steve and Room Manager Edward during our stay here. Having arrived at Silk Path Grand Sapa from Hanoi in the evening with slight drizzle, we were warmly received by the Room manager who helped to arrange the rooms in a jiffy so that we cld have our dinner after a long journey. That was when we were introduced to the GM Steve, who recommended us delicious home-styled dishes knowing that we were from S'pore and was familiar with our food preferences being a S'porean himself. As we enjoyed our dinner, we later found out that the Chef Adrian was incidentally also from S'pore. Over the next few days, we were able to witness the sumptious spread of breakfast led by Adrian. This was one of the rare times where we saw the GM himself helping his staff with breakfast service, while also interacting with the many guests.
The italian restaurant was beautifully decorated and the food (we had pasta, gnocchi, soups, bruschetta, pizza) was also quite good, although the scallops we had cld be a little bigger.
Appreciated and impressed with the service and assistance from the managers. Edward was ever ready and helpful to ensure that our rooms were in tip-top conditions and looked into the issues promptly. Steve even helped us to watch the weather (unfortunately it was foggy throughout the four days during our stay in Sapa) and told us over breakfast when there was an opportunity of fair weather. He quickly helped to arrange a driver and guide to bring us to the Glass Bridge and we were able to see the wonderful views from there. On the day of our departure, as one of us had a bad stomach, Steve personally went to the kitchen and prepared a ginger drink for her.
It was one of the most personal and best service that we had received from amongst our many holiday experiences. The hospitality more than made up for the foggy weather during our stay and missing Fanzipan.
Hope to be back to this great resort soon and meet the amazing team of staffs esp the GM Steve, Edward and Adrian.

The hotel is luxurious and grand with lots of added features and kind staff.
There are few members of staff that speak English which make it tricky sometimes but even without English they have always tried to accommodate or get someone else who can help. Edward and Steve were particularly helpful in navigating transport and things to do in Sapa.
The hotel is designed for a luxury experience but the price for the stay and extras reflects this as it is relatively expensive for Sapa.
We stayed in a Mountain View balcony room and it was spacious and shower and bath were delightful. Our view was interrupted by severe fog and cloud so perhaps choose to stay when there are clear skies to make the most of the view.
Restaurant food was tasty but the restaurant itself very very quiet during weekdays so may not have the atmosphere desired. Breakfast was a good and easy option.
Laundry service is expensive but was efficient and done to a high standard.
Located 5 minutes taxi ride to the town hub so easy to get to.
Overall, a great luxury 5 star stay if you have the $ to spend. Would recommend a weekend stay with clear skies.
Thank you,
Sam and Terry

We must highly praise the reception staff ( particularly Flower) and Edward the Manager, for their amazing service when I lost my iPhone yesterday. I left it in a car down in the ethnic village of Cat Cat. It was not a taxi because the driver offered a lift to get out of the rain, so it was not easy to find him again. Despite this the hotel reception staff did not give up. They traced the car number through cctv and the manager drove us back the next day 3 miles to the village and asked locals if they knew who owned the car! Would you believe he traced the driver and when the driver opened his car there was my phone still sitting in the middle of the back seat!!!!!!
The hotel and its facilities are generally well worth it’s five stars. We are in a very stylish executive suite which is very spacious and extremely comfortable. The hotel location is excellent with a commanding view over Sapa. There is efficient frequent transport down into town, which runs until 10pm at night if you wish to go out for dinner. However the restaurants are top class so you can happily eat in if you prefer. Breakfast also provides all you could want.
Don’t hesitate to book the Silk Path if you are visiting Sapa.

Can’t say enough great things about this resort. Not only is the resort absolutely beautiful but it’s always quiet, clean and shines at night.
The staff here really puts in work to keep things in order. There is always landscaping being done, someone picking up fallen leaves and trash as well as windows being cleaned.
Aesthetically, my favorite thing about the resort is the constant smell of flowers and roses as you walk through the pathways.
The resort sits atop a hill with breathtaking views and is only a short 2 minute drive into the city center. The breakfast buffet is vast and delicious and features both western, Asian, and authentic Vietnamese dishes.
I speak Vietnamese but it is hard for me to understand the northern dialect. I tried speaking Vietnamese with my mild American accent to the staff and although they understood me with ease, I could not understand them. But it was not an issue because their staff speaks English very well.
The most impress thing about Silk Path was the staff. I’ve traveled to many different countries and have stayed at many different resorts, including many others in Viet and although the hospitality in Vietnamese already sets such a high standard that I just have never seen in any other country, Silk Path’s hospitality is at a different level even by Vietnam’s standards.
The hospitality is not only friendly but just genuine in the kindness of the people who work here. It’s one thing to be polite and friendly; it’s an entirely different thing to feel the genuine yet nuanced passion, intrigue, kindness, and welcoming nature of their staff.
Although everyone working at Silk Path showed this level of hospitality, there were three people who really made this stay special. I’m not entirely sure of their positions at this resort but I think they were all managers of some capacity: Edward, Steve, and Rosy.
Edward was extremely accommodating from the moment we arrived. He assisted us with recommendations on what to do in sapa and how to avoid the tourist traps. He gave me his phone number and I probably called him an annoying amount of times to which he was always patient and willing to help.
Rosy always greeted us with a genuine and friendly smile at the restaurant. She came by regularly to check on us, even giving my wife and kids lessons in Vietnamese. She went above and beyond to accommodating my kids picky eating habits.
Steve was constantly going above and beyond in the restaurant as well. When there was something not on the buffet line, Steve went out of his way and found a way to get it for my kids. He himself even made special crepes for my 5 year old son. He gave us good tips on maximizing our stay both here and in Hanoi and was overall just very pleasant to have great table side conversations with.
There’s a certain nuance about my interactions with Edward, Rosy, and Steve that I can’t put down into words on a review. But they just emulated an authentic and genuine kindness about them that was just so pleasant to be around.
All in all, my family and I really enjoyed our stay here and will be back in the future and will be recommending it to friends and family. Thank you for the experience Silk Path staff!

The hotel can arrange a 16 seat car to pick you up around VND 600k+++ or you can take the bus or other minivan that go to the hotel. There a few private car that are outside that can take you to the hotel, I paid VND 500,000 for the car.
I wasn't able to find a bus that did this. I think if you look on a map, it might make sense why. If people are doing a route, i think they usually do Hanoi to Ning Binh (i.e. Tam Coc) and then they go to Ha Long Bay. From Ha Long Bay, I think there is a train that will get you to Sapa. Not sure the exact routing of the train, but that's how people do it typically.
There’s a shuttle every hour 5 minutes away.
The latest is around 10pm
