Great homestay for big group travel. Choice of 2 rooms with each having 2 King Size bed. They have dormitory too.

We went with family of 5 people and so took the 2 rooms. Rooms were build in July 2023. It’s very cosy and comfortable. No heater and yet the place is well insulated and we slept like babies at night in the paddy field.

Dinner and breakfast with the family were a fantastic experience. We understood so much about the culture of the tribe.

We went on a guided tour with Hop from Sapa and around visiting the minorities living nearby. Such a wonderful trip and Hop was an amazing guide! She knew all the beautiful places and small roads.
Then we went to her house for a homestay. Had our own private room and she and her mom made us lovely food. Biggest recommendation! Best thing that happend for us in Sapa! ☀️☀️

Wonderful homestay in Sapa with our trek/village guide Hop and her family. Hop met us in Sapa and we walked through the rice terraces and villages eating at local hostelries and bartering with the villagers selling their home made goods. Met a wonderful Hmong artist, saw the local school etc such a fabulous genuine insight into Vietnamese culture. Enjoyed home cooked food prepared by Hop and her husband. Delicious and home grown. View from the terrace of Paradise homestay just beautiful . Overall a fantastic stay I will never forget .

If you are looking for a homestay experience, this is not the place to go. Big disappointment for us who were hoping to exchange with a family from the Sapa region.
No exchange with the family, we did not eat together (separate table for the guests), no meal preparation with them.
The house is however correct and clean. They seem nice and we ate very well, that's all.
Really disappointed.
It was the Fil du Vietnam agency that organized this night for us at their place. This is not my idea of “homestay”
A shame and to be avoided if you are really looking for contact with the inhabitants of the region.
