Landed in this "hotel" after a sleeper bus from HoiChinMing city at midnight. It was a complete ghost town with very unfriendly locals. We eventually sourced a local taxi to drive us to our hotel 3km from the bus station. Chau Doc looked like it was under construction. When we arrived the hotel we were met with the most unfriendly...

This hotel was THE WORST place I've stayed in throughout my whole Asian travels. Arrived in around midnight after a tiring sleeping bus journey from Ho Chi Minh City to be welcomed by the most unhelpful ignorant staff. I understand that we arrived late but to be grunted at on arrival was not the best start. Beds were covered in...

We stayed in this hotel for one night during a Mekong tour (it was chosen by the tour operator). Nothing wrong with the rooms or internal amenities themselves. However, the hotel happens to be huge and we were pretty much on our own whilst there and the hotel is located in a new suburban area, which gave us an overall...

We stayed here for one night in December. As mentioned below, there where hardly any people there. One other family came and joined for dinner, but we were the only ones for breakfast. Since we were on a prebooked tour in Mekong Delta, we got dinner included at the hotel. They served us a various of Vietnamese dishes, witch we...

This hotel is miles from anywhere, and we were the only people in a hotel with probably 100 or so rooms so it was a really spooky experience. The dining room which would have capacity for a couple of hundred had the 2 of us and 4 kitchen staff. funny really. Whilst the staff try their best to accomodate and...

Ha Long is miles away from Chau Doc and the river near Sam Mountain. It is set in a littered field, has few occupants and neither the moutain, the village or the hotel have any charms. Room was 'okay' however the security was a major anxiety. Both of our rooms had broken off interior locks but, worse still, housekeeping left...

We stayed here for 3 nights- the hotel is not actually in chau doc but in nui Sam district- at the base of Sam mountain (makes an interesting morning to climb by the way!)- there is a small taxi ride into town so we were glad to stay here regardless of location. The hotel was very clean and spacious- the...
