The rooms looks nice and clean, but what I didn't like about Echoland are the windows in the room. It doesn't give you privacy because the curtain is not good. The rooms windows are on the corridors of the hotel, which people can see you. Not very happy with the place.
We stayed in a private room with an ensuite, the room was very nice as well as the pool. Breakfast was included, which was served on the rooftop and many things were included such as fresh fruit, tea or coffee and a full meal. The staff were very nice and helpful. Good location, near the beach and many restaurants.
Everything was fantastic. Breakfast was great especially the banana pancakes, pool was beautiful only complaint we had no sunbeds around the pool but wasn't a big deal. Staff super friendly, room very clean.
Glad i got it right - the accommodation was booked last minute, without reading the reviews. The rooms are simple and basic, and it’s all situated conveniently near the beach and main city centre. The breakfast is served on the rooftop, which is a lovely getaway. If there are any cons, just ensure to take your toiletries as a towel is the only things provided.
Our room number was 207. Room is clean. Beds comfortable. Room has A/C and fan. Comfortable stay. Breakfast was good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Make sure you have your own toiletries as they dont provide.
As stated previously we were not immediately excited about this place due to the first impressions of the rooms. The floors are of polished concrete rather than shiny tiles. However, once we settled in it dawned on us that the rooms were air conditioned, had all the amenities we needed and provided a very comfortable nights sleep for our two night stay. The shower was perfect and with nice hot water. Flatscreen tv also provided. The pool was right outside our room and breakfast was taken on their rooftop terrace. Our receptionist was a lovely lady called Arini and she was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was prepared and served on the rooftop by young men that were clearly professional and friendly in ensuring that everything was perfect for their guests. We would not hesitate to stay at this B&b again next time we visit the lovely island of Bali. Prices were extremely reasonable!!!…
We stayed in Canggu just for two nights at the Echoland Bed & Breakfast. The first impression was not very good, as we got the room right next to the entrance. So it was very loud and also they didn’t close the main entrance from the hotel. Also the bath is outside, which we knew but we could not lock the door so everyone could just jump over the bamboo and get into our room. But after the first night ist was very nice. We got a lovely breakfast which includes one of the main dishes with one coffee/Tea and a jus or a fruit plate. Also the staff was very kind and they helped us with nearly everything. They also change the bed lines every day! The Hotel is also very well located to the beach and to the center. Around the Echoland it also has a lot of shops and groceries.
Thank you Arini and staff for having us to stay for 11 days this month. I had a medical problem while I was here and they were very helpful and supportive. The breakfasts are great - nasi goreng very tasty! And the benedict for healthy eggs and veg. There were problems with consistent wifi, but I understand this is a problem for Canggu generally, so best to lower expectations when visiting this area if you need good wifi for work reasons. Walking distance to the beach for sunset, and also close to the town. Taxi rank at the end of the Echoland driveway. ATMs close.
Overall: Excellent value for money Simple in style, but lovely touches like gorgeous pool at heart of building and outdoor shower. Location: Walking distance to everywhere you probably want to be in Canggu! Service: Friendly staff, always happy to help. Room: Absolutely fine room for the price. Perfectly clean enough, and decent outdoor shower (if you’re into an outdoor shower!). No fridge in room is only criticism. Food & Drink: Great breakfast, particularly considering it was included. No vegan options on menu, but chefs made a special vegan breakfast for us on the second day, as soon as they knew! Recommendations: Include a couple of labelled vegan options on breakfast menu - particularly in the context of Canggu’s excellent vegan cafes, restaurants and options on menus! A fridge in the room would be appreciated.…
Positives. 1. Location 2. Staff 3. New scooters. Only around 3000kms Negatives 1. Room 201 had faulty/ half broken air con, seriously nosy to point where you couldn't sleep with it going. Surprised they still put people in this room. Noise during night from hotel, sounded like people moving things. 2. Beds hard as. If you are use to a soft bed avoid this place 3. Room 207, for an hour each morning from about 7am you get to listen to the banging from above while they hold a class on the rooftoo. If you want to come to Bali to sleep and relax I'd stay elsewhere, as beds and noise make this place hard to do that
