Lots of 5-star reviews here but all for the top rooms/suites, so here's my contribution - a different perspective from someone who stayed in the standard Canggu room (hotel wing) for 4D3N. Check in experience was horrible. At check in, I signed off on the paperwork for a room with a king bed. The bellboy was a nice young kid, and when we got to our room, the confusion started. The room number was different to what was on the paperwork and the room was a double twin - I had booked for king. The bellboy didn't know anything and left. I called reception and explained we were in the wrong room. He said he will get someone to check and asked me to hold. I realised after a long time the line was dead. I called back and said sorry I may have hung up on you, he said he ended the call (though he had told me to hold?)...didn't apologise, that's fine... at least someone was coming to check our room... Two staff members holding linen and a mattress topper came by. I was confused, and said I wasn't expecting to have the twin bed converted. I usually wouldn't protest, but because I was heavily pregnant, I knew I wouldn't be comfortable. The staff members looked at me blankly and said they will change to a king bed. At this point, the floor/wing manager (I presumed) had arrived and explained they will put the topper on so it's a king bed. I explained I think the room was mixed up. He repeated himself... I was upset now. I apologised and said I could not accept as I did not book for this. Finally, he said he will call the reservations team to check first. They finally put us in the room I originally signed for, and unfortunately, was very late to my videocall business meeting. I was very disappointed, is this the 'exceptional service' the COMO brand's website boasts about? It's fine to make mistakes, but I was not offered anything and the least I wanted was an apology from SOMEBODY. This was supposed to be 5-star, but my experience so far was anything but. None of the staff even offered one for the inconvenience and the time they wasted that day. I was late for my online meeting because of this issue…

We stayed at the Penthouse with 2 little kids and our stay was wonderful. The staff were attentive and the hotel was clean. The breakfast was very delicious, in room dining reasonably priced and off course very delicious too! The location of the hotel is awesome, it is close to everything in Canggu. The only minor thing was the private pool is not cleaned daily, so we prefer to swim in the main pool. Our stay was wonderful and we will definitely be back soon!

Stayed in a One Bedroom Seaview Residence. Great views. Amazing sunset. Spacious and clean room. Just perfect! But even better was the service. From check in to check out. Restaurant service also very good. Special mention to Ibu Tri at the restaurant (Como Beach Club) who went out of her way to look after us. The Spa is fabulous also. Highly recommend the signature 60min massage. Wonderful stay. Personalized service. Great guest recognition. Very, very good experience. Thank you all. 🙏 Adam.

I finally got the chance to stay at their penthouse after postponing it for a year, loving this room so much! The design is all white like the usual Como, therefore it's bright, clean, and luxurious. The 2 bedrooms in the lower level are great but nothing compared to the master bedroom on the second floor. It's majestic! What makes this interesting is the pool, I have never encountered something like that.. Worth visiting and worth every money! Whenever your journey brings you to Canggu, do stay there. Besides, there's no other luxury resort in Canggu other than Como.. You only have one option and might as well stay in their highest category, The Penthouse :)

This hotel was built by feb 2018. Its not even four years the quality of the hotel structures and facilities has definitely gone down. Comparing to four season jimbaran, almost 30 years old, but still impeccable quality and maintenance. Definitely overrated hotel, and i wouldnt even consider buying a unit here

I booked this hotel mainly for it's location and proximity to all my favorite restarants, beach clubs, and beaches in Canggu. Due to the pandemic, the hotel only had about ~55 rooms available (typically I believe capacity is 150+ rooms) so I loved how quiet it felt compared to other large resorts in Bali. Como Beach Club is excellent. I spent hours there in the morning, daytime, and sunset. Love how close the parking lot is as well to lobby. Lobby is very well designed. Only con is that the Garden View rooms don't have a view. It's just a big private garden with a concrete wall. Biggest pro was the bed and linens. One of the most comfortable hotel linens I've ever experienced.

Stayed here 3D2N and I was wrong to book the suite. It was gloomy and the hallway was dark and creepy. Upgraded my stay at 1 Bedroom Residence with Pool Lagoon. Better feeling, the room has jacuzzi, which was amazing!, and much larger room although the room felt very humid and a bit dark. Their restaurant view also faces the sea and has an amazing view. Unfortunately other than that, the stay was much disappointment. Food did not taste good at all (order benedict and nasi goreng) till we decided to skip breakfast for the next day, and they were not that clean. They gave us cups for tea which had full of dust and we accidentally drank it. We left early in the morning because we disliked the food and novody helped us when we checked out so we left with our luggage just like that. Although 10 mins later the front desk called to apologize and we appreciated the gesture, yet, overall, for the price, I would not stay here again after that experience. Amazing holiday!! Had such a wonderful time here. When we first arrived, my husband and I shared a very concerned look. It didnt look like a 5 star hotel at all. Very plain and basic. Totally underwhelmed and we immediately lowered our expectations. But boy.. we’re in for a huge surprise!!!! All staffs were very attentive and friendly. The service was superb and the attention to details are very well done. Kudos to Ade and Dodik who looked after us since day 1. Very friendly and attentive. Breakfast at the Como Beach Club was excellent. It’s served as ala carte so we can order exactly what we want and still adhere to health and safety protocol. Loving the vast selection and everyday we tried something different and they’re all so yummy. Beautiful spot to watch the sunset too accompanied by tasty cocktails and yummy snacks. When we were there it was too hot and humid so my kids were complaining and broody. But in the morning, it’s perfect with the fresh sea breeze and beautiful view of the beach. Pity that their beach front is sooooo dirty.. if they’re cleaned up and well looked after, it would have been so much better. But for now, I would not feel safe to let my children walk around barefooted there.. I’ve seen some broken glass shards.. not happy. The room I must say is beautiful. We stayed in the 2 bedroom lagoon residence and it is perfect. The rooms are massive and very spacious, just perfect for us. It felt like home away from home. It is located on the ground floor and we can swim in their massive 115m lagoon at any time we want. We literally lived in the pool.. very clean and massive.. heavenly for a family of swimmers like us. We also managed to squeeze in some time for spa treatment. I had the deep tissue massage and my boys had the como shambala massage. It was truly heavenly. This hotel is definitely on my ‘must return’ list and I dont have a very long list for Bali. So, it’s that good. Can’t wait to come back here agaaiiinnnn.. til our next visit Como!! We’ll be back 💕…

Great hotel, reccomended for those with kids as the staffs in the kids club is very friendly, especially ms. Ayu. i stayed with my employer, Mr and Mrs Chandni, with the kid. the room was nice to, very comfy and spacious and the pool was nice too, big and spacious.
