Located right on the shores of the Mighty Arabian Sea, The Pappukutty Beach Resort is an ideal place to all the Sea Lovers to enjoy a vacation. I along with my family checked into the resort on 30/03/21 at around 3pm to a warm welcome from the Manager of the resort Mr Sachin who was very courteous and helpful. Since I had a prior booking it hardly took a minute to complete the check in formalities. We were then led into our very well appointed and spacious rooms by the porters and served cold water. After taking a rest for an hour we changed into our swim wear and just ran into the beautiful Kovalam Beach. After almost 2 hours of swimming in the sea we came back and were served hot tea and coffee along with light snacks of our choice by Mr. Khan, who is the captain of the in-house Restaurant. The next morning we were served a multi cuisine breakfast including Parathas, Chole masala with choice of eggs and bread, dosa with chutney and sambhar along with fresh fruit juices and hot beverages. The food quality was very good and all credit goes to Mr khan and his able team consisting of Mr Vincent, Mr Ali and Mr Radish. After a day long sightseeing in Thiruvananthapuram we came back in time for the evening high tea and light snacks of pakodas. After a swimming session in the in-house swimming pool we had our choice of Seafood dinner consisting of Prawns curry and Calamari fish fry washed with my favorite Amstel Bier(Beer) . After a walk on the beach side we retired for the day into our cosy beds.Today as I write my review of my stay at The Pappukutty Beach Resort, I will be carrying a Loadfull of pleasant memories of a fulfilled vacation. A very good place to stay. Its right on the Beach, having a nice and clean Swimming Pool and a Nice Garden The rooms are good with facilities of hot water (through tap) in the morning hours. Most attractive part of the Resort is the elevated covered observation deck in front part of the Resort. Its as good as being on the Beach. The Staff are very polite, helpful and co-operative

Booked for 8 days, lasted 12 hours. Mould and dirt on furniture,fridge and fittings. 2shower heads but hot water via a bucket! Curtains and bedding look like theyve been left over from 1960's Pool was green with mould Broken tv replaced with one without a stand Not brave enough to try breakfast.

Good place to stay. Its exactly at the beachfront and light house is just 5 min walk away. You can watch the view of sea while being in the pool. You cannot come directly through vehicle.....you need to get down 500m away and walk to the hotel. Your luggage will be picked up by the hotel people from the taxi dropping point itself. It has a 24x7 taxi stand is near to the hotel so, you don't have to trouble for conveyance. Light house opens at 10 am. A lot of restaurants are available near to it which can be explored especially for sea food delicacies.

Although I did not stay at night, I spent the whole day with a friend living in the hotel which s located on the beach. To reach the resort you have to drag your luggage through the beach only as it is not accessible through car, but they send an escort to carry your luggage. There is a swimming pool also in the hotel. The staff is friendly.

Its a resort beside arabian sea beach/light house beach...old not maintained properly...modern amenities are not available though costly resort...after reaching kovalam beach resort arranged a trolly for carrying luggage but it takes time..2nd day of our stay light connection in toilet was off for full day/night..restaurant menu average & costly also

view from restaurant is best one in Kovalam beach restaurants but overall quality of food and price is average. you can spend some time in day hours from here you can also see light house. food price in Kovalam beach is little bit high.

It was a pathetic experience. The "sea view" room they have provided had a view of the sea only from one corner of the balcony. Ignoring that if I come to the cleanliness of the room, it was a living hell. The room had a very bad smell and had very low lighting. The front door can be broken easily with a kick. Coming to the bathroom, stains all over the places, the commode had big black stains, the ac drain pipe was fixed inside the bathroom so continuous water drop soinds. There was no hot water facility, the intercom was not working at first. Only working thing in the room was AC. It was so horrible experience that we had to check out from the hotel with in one day though i had a booking of two days... If i had a option of giving negative ratings then i would have given that..... Just a tip---dont go for any hotel on that row... We searched other hotel also in that row but more or less all are same catagory...…

The place is really on a great location. The problem is it's only beautiful from outside and inside it's a hell. Cons:- 1. No charging point(use TV/dish box) 2. Dirty sticky floor 3. No hot water 4. Stinky towel 5. Towel size of 2 year old Kid 6. Rude staff(will behave as if you took their property) when you call 555 for service. 7. Mentioned they provide 1 bottle of water daily but did not provide, 1 provided on day 1 after asking multiple times. 8. Mosquitoes everywhere in room and bathroom. Pros:- 1. Good Air con on day1 of my stay but day 2 even Aircon was bad. Stay at your own risk and do not go on photos, since it's not the same as shown in photos.
