Is the second time that I come to this paradise. After all the exhausting trip around India , coming here is just a heaven. The owner Frederick is just love and compassion and this is why Bethsaida is so blessed. The manager Jose and his beautiful smile, only helping and being kind to everyone, all The staff at reception (Sheeba, Aneesha, Riji. The Ayurveda treatments just amazing and of good quality . I do really recommend this paradise.

Feels like coming home. I start my second review with these words again, because it’s not just the words, it’s not just the slogan of the hotel. It’s how this place is run. Warm, kindness, care, love, smile, delicious healthy food, safety, sincerity, relaxation, trust - all this came to my mind during this year when I was thinking of my last autumn vacation here. I traveled a lot all over the world, but this place I miss so much as I do my home. There is something special here. Everything is made and organized in Bethsaida with big love and soul. Everything here is thought-out to the very smallest detail. I am so happy to come back here again with my mother and kids. I am so glad to see familiar faces and sincere smiles of people who work here. It’s so enjoyable moments during ayurvedic treatment and yoga sessions, so nice varied food in the restaurant from organic garden, so spacious clean comfortable rooms (I stayed in different places in this area of same price level, the accommodation here is the best), great service, so nice people from different countries. It’s difficult to meet someone who comes to Bethsaida for the first time. People come again and again. Even more than 20 times! My kids are so happy being here, so relaxed, it’s like the safest place. Beautiful nature, ocean sound, great view from every point. This time here I could see even more nice details. How many plants and flowers are in the hotel, it’s one big the most beautiful garden!; how the territory is well-kept; how the hotel is organizing the celebrations (big beautiful flowers carpets (one was made all night long) were everywhere in hotel during Onam festival); how each table is served always in the restaurant that guests could choose where to seat (even when there are no many guests in low season); how the fresh drinking water is provided daily everywhere in hotel even in the parts where no one lives at the moment for the case if anybody from the guests will go for the walk there and need some water; how the restaurant served full Ayurvedic buffet one day when every guest was invited to one big celebration with great food for the case if anybody still wants to stay with buffet; how the management and the staff are attentive to everyone guest. Generosity, care and discreet attention are everywhere. Thank you dr Frederick for creating this paradise for people, for this beautiful atmosphere, for this ‘something special’, for Bethsaida soul. Thank you for inviting all guests for big, amazing, exceptionally beautiful wedding reception (1000 people) to see this magnificence and to be the part of your family. Thank you for the best Bethsaida team. Thank you, mr Jose for your care, attention, professionalism, for ready to help anytime. Thank you and your team for the best service. It was perfect weekend with myself! All stuff always smiling, wishing a good day and manager asks you is everything is ok almost every evening😄 Very relaxing and healing treatments, supportive yoga teacher and doctor, very very tasty food, and nice performances 1-2 times per week, I enjoyed, Thanks a lot for this experience!☺️🙏🏻 P.s. I also have noticed my skin and hair became much softer even without cream and conditioner!;)

This is the 2nd time I have visited Beth Saida, and “it feels like coming home”! The location is stunning, the doctors are amazing, and they listen to your needs! The treatments are all amazing and individually created for your medical issues after discussions with your doctor and then you are given a diet to follow in the extremely staff friendly restaurant so all you have to do to feel amazing in this wonderful home is enjoy and feel fantastic! I lost over 4 kilos in the first week with the hep of everyone. The new yoga instructor is also very knowledgable and extremely helpful wether your a beginner like me or experienced. I hope to return in January and have given recommendations to many friends who have told me I look amazing upon my return! Extremely calm, quiet place with private beach. Very spacious, well maintained, well equipped rooms. Extremely well behaved staff, all, including cleaning staff, very welcoming, and ready to help. Restaurant has veg buffet only, but all non veg available to order. Probably the best place for family getaway around kovalam.

I went to loose weight and stayed 28 nights. I did indeed loose weight. Took the tablets, daily yoga, had all the treatments, cut back severely on food and walked 5 miles a day. Doctor and treatment staff were excellent. Weight loss was very good. The hotel is situated in attractive wooded gardens leading down to the sea. The gardens are well maintained. Plenty of room for relaxing and never felt crowded. The sea had massive waves for the entire time I was there. Swimming was for the brave. Godwin, the beach guard, was fantastic at helping people get past the surf zone. Taking people in and out of the sea. Despite this some people were injured during my stay. Pools were quiet throughout. Wifi and Aircon was adequate. Vast majority of guests were Russian and German. I did not see any Indian guests for the duration of my trip. That tells you everything you need to know. Beginners yoga was good sometimes. Joseph was great but sometimes he wasn’t there and his replacement was poor. Rooms, however, need a massive upgrade and are poor. Large rooms with small windows, heavy dark old, scuffed, uncomfortable furniture. Small uncomfortable beds. The rooms were unloved and are in desperate need of improvement. E.g Tv bracket left on wall where tv had been taken away in an indication of lack of care. Hated spending time in the room. No fridge in room. It had been removed and an empty old piece of furniture left in its place. So nowhere to chill drinks. This again is a major issue. No opportunity to buy alcohol, soft drinks or even tea or coffee. Had to leave hotel to buy drinks and drink them before they got warm! Finally and the absolutely worst thing about Bethsaida is the FOOD! Just terrible. Served buffet style in large hooded servers. Food was always tepid, watery, flavourless and so very unappetising. I ate less and less as the days went by and for the last week couldn’t face it anymore and used to go out to other hotels and restaurants for dinner. For example. the ‘diet veg’ option for every single night was plain, over boiled, unseasoned cauliflower, green beans and carrots! Every single night. So go here if you are keen on auyervedic treatments and are not interested in comfort, food or the sea.…

It is a nice property with access to private beach. However the good things end here. Even the access to the beach could have been better maintained. This property is a treatment center and not meant for vacation. The food spread also tuned to the requirement of the treatment center. Rooms - Terrible: - Huge rooms; lacking everything else. - We found cockroaches and lizards in our room. Hospitality - Lacking: - No room service. One needs to even fetch their own water. - Any ask is catered with a lot of delay and post quite a few reminders. Food - Terrible The food in the buffet is junk. The taste is missing in the food. The charges of the food are excessive. They really need to upgrade their cooks.

Very good property, next to beach, 2 swimming pools. However, the hotel is lacking in terms of hospitality and there is no room service and even for water you have to go out to refill bottles. Ok for non-indians, but we Indians are habitual of better hospitality. When i checked in, i was mainly disappointed owing to food, however we could manage 2 days with special instructions to kitchen and waiting staff. Rest of the experience was good, especially the swimming pool, view from rooms and access to the sea. North indians might face some problems owing to food, but if you can eat keralan cuisine, it would be good. My experience was memorable as the property is very good.
