Pleasant friendly hotel with a swimming pool , close to the beach (just behind the seafront). Very well located in central Kovalam beach, close to all the amenities yet very quiet. Rooms are big, nice and the staff are very friendly and prices are moderate (nice value for money). I just spent two nights there and would come again without hesitation.

We stayed there for 3 nights. Its really close to the beach with a walk of 1 minute and there are so many good restaurants around. The manager was really nice and helpful. Its cash payment only but they accepted dollars, euros and Rupies which was nice. The room was quiet clean for indian standarts. There were some ants in the bathroom and at the outer wall though. We had a room with only ventilator and no AC. That was very hot so i recommend the rooms with AC. The Toilet was leaking some water from time to time and the shower wasn’t very strong and no hot water. The Wifi wasn’t very good. It works slow and we really struggled with it a lot. The pool was cleaned every day but still was no match to the beach.

I had checked into this hotel through a travel agency. It is slightly in the interior and one has to navigate through 2-3 narrow lanes to reach there but you also have to walk across the Kovalam beach from the parking lot. They are very helpful and arrange the porters to carry the luggage. They have their own pool and many rooms with decent facilities. They don't have any food facilities but provide breakfast. Overall a luxury for a budget traveler such as me!

Hotel rooms are average with average ambience, yes they have pool inside hotel which is attraction of it. Location is very good just facing of kovallam lavish beach. Food quality n quantity is very good but they dont have restaurant in place.. Overall 3stars to this hotel

The service were very good and staff were very attentive to guest's needs. The rooms were clean and hotel lives upto expectations. The food was very good and just like home made north indian food (which was not expected). Special cheers for the person at reception (forgot the name), he had smile on the face always and fulfilled all our demands. The hotel is very near to beach, the only minus could be you can not see Seaview from rooms

My wife and I stayed here for twelve nights and enjoyed our time at this hotel, after spending the first night in the wrong room we were changed to the pool view which we had booked the next morning. The rest of the time was very good, breakfast was nice (eggs, toast, jam, pot of tea and freshly squeezed orange juice) the pool was clean and refreshing, the rooms cleaned upon request and any services we needed were immediately dealt with. We would definitely return to this hotel in the future.

This hotel is near to Kovalam Beach however not facing beach. You have to walk to be there. Manager was very nice to handle customer. Food was awesome. Rooms are in renovation process. You can enjoy reading their collection of books in front of swimming pool.

The service at the hotel was prompt. The hotel ambiance is comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly and make you feel at home. We had an early morning train and they were sweet enough to pack us breakfast at 6.30 in the morning. Worth recommending.

In our family trip to kovalam, we stayed at "New Kovalam Beach Hotel". I would say this is one of the best and most hospitable hotel i have been. I was driving from Bangalore to Kovalam (~750km) and due to which we were late to reach. We reached around 10pm and still Mr Sanal sent 2 guys to guide us to hotel. We were tired and were late hence we ordered food from hotel itself, it was wonderful and tasty(taking into account they had to start cooking after 10pm). The hotel provide breakfast which was yummy as well(considering most people staying at the hotel were North Indians). Mr Sanal is a very warm person and always ready to help, with anything you want. The hotel doesnt have any parking (common parking in Hawa Beach ~400mts from Hotel, which is the same for approx 25-30hotels in the area). And the AWESOME sea is just 2mins walking from the hotel. A good budgeted hotel....looks like deserted also....one manager and a helper boy. rooms are average...good and descent condition. and the best is the location just a 2minute walk from the beach...dat acts as a negative also as u have to carry your luggage a long way.
