Stayed two nights in a big room with balcony. Bed is comfy and huge, room has nice view to swimming pool, aircon and bathroom. Everything was clean and they arranged all extra needs quickly. Our aircon was leaking the first day so we got offered a different room straightaway. Hotel itself is situated in walking distance to the lighthouse beach and still a bit away from all the tourist crowds. Parking space is provided and front desk is really helpful in giving advices or directions and even helped me to organize a last minute dive booking. There's a nice common are at reception with sofas to sit down, relax, talk or read a book (heaps of them to borrow). Swimming pool and outside area are spacious and nice in the evening to relax. Restaurant is in the hotel. Breakfast buffet is a mix of western and Indian dishes. Dinner was alright, just took a while to get ready. Only thing annoying was the construction work going on as they renovate a bit but they stopped over night for us to have a good sleep. Suggestion to improve service: wifi is just in lobby, maybe arrange to get it at least in the rooms. …
Good location, 5 min away from Kovalam Beach, good hotel, food varieties are limited, rooms were good, AC was working fine, cleanliness at hotel was good, good staff support, good swimming pool area, really enjoyed at pool and at beach.
The location is very good. There is partial view of the sea from some parts of the resort on the top floors. The rooms are big but the whole property is poorly maintained. Restaurant is best avoided as there are very good options nearby. The pool is never cleaned and you will see green moss on the tiles. There are very few staff and service is also very poor.
The hotel was very bad.The rooms were very dirty. The staff was not polite. We had a very bad experience in the restaurant. We had ordered tomato soup and other food in the night in the restaurant. We waited for one hour but the tomato soup and the food did not come. When we asked them they said that they will give the food in half an hour.We said that we wanted the tomato soup and we cancelled the order for the other food.
Not a great place though. Nice location, walkable from beach. Very old resort and swimming pool water was much salty. Bathroom was not much clean and old interiors. Night lamp was not working. Costlier too

Excellent place for weekend stay for family and Couples . Has got excellent sea view balconies and sea view sitting places. Got pool and good restaurant too. Will come here for sure next time. The staff is friendly and always helpful. Great place and a must visit.
We went to Kovalam in September, 2017 and had one night stay at the Pawn room... Room was well decorated and a large cupboard was there.... Clean toilet.... Balcony with pool view.... Corridor with view of thousands of coconut tree.... Only 300-400 meters from the beach.... Have a ATM inside the property... Enjoyed a lot, especially the buffet breakfast....
A very good place to love in. Has well maintained rooms and swimming pools. The staff r courteous and and r very helpful. The beach is just 5 min walk and it's restaurant offers food as per ones choice.
The family and I was booked in for 6 nights in what was supposed to be two adjoining rooms as asked for and confirmed by email. When we get there we were told we don’t have ajoining rooms ,just rooms close by to each other. Not good when you have children traveling with you. Checked out the pool only to find it really dirty, sun loungers covered in bird feaces, children’s pool area had been drained looking like it was getting ready to close .went into the room only to find those to were very run down.Dont know what room they are showing in the description but it certainly was nothing like yours. Beds are rock hard and when we turned the taps on the water was brown. Tried to find another hotel after about a hour but could only get Wi-fi in the reception . We eventually took a walk and found a better hotel on the sea front then went back to swagath and canceled our booking at a cost to us. The hotel seems to be really run down and uncared for. Would recommend you look for a hotel on the sea front as there are plenty of good ones to chose for the same amount of money. I really cannot think of a positive thing to say about this hotel …
