Our room was adequately furnished and equipped. The service was faultless, friendly and helpful, beyond normal expectations. We were totally spoilt. Good experience. The hotel is within 3 minutes from the wonderful beach. Rooms are spaceious with balcony and nice view. Good breakfast. Very helpful and charming management. I absolutely reccomend Ocean Bay.

It's my second stay at this place. In 2017, I found this hotel and out of hotels near by and hotels with the sea view, I decided to stay here. Why? Here is why: tall, modern building, 4 minutes walk to the sea, in the center of the seafront village, convenient to walk to the left, right or else! Quiet, no noise or busy traffic! Very large room and bathroom, plus covered balcony, huge glass door/windows!!! Modern, marble floor in the room and bathroom! Air-conditioning, flat TV!!!! New management under Satheesh supervision improved hotel's inner backyard, clean, inviting to seat in a garden! Many lights in the room and lightning is in the right place with the main switch by your bed, all working! Basic but comfortable furniture, dissent beds, good! pillows and blankets, better beddings than before. I think they put more solar panels on the roof since I always had hot water during my stay at any time. Back in 2017 quite often I had to take lukewarm showers. 😊 And nice touch, the daily free bottle of water is included, you don't have to remember to buy it if you are tired after the sunny day. Limited variety breakfast, bad rooms, ac not cooling, 5 min walk from beach, no restaurant, smelly room, no ocean view from any room, extra bed is very uncomfortable, no activities, not a resort only rooms, overall bad for families

There are so many basic reason we look into the hotel which is actually not good here: 1) Manager is rude 2) Parking to hotel road is too narrow & horrible 3) hotel to beach road is terrific 4) Ac not working it takes 1 hour to cool the room, - I checked in 2 rooms 5) Rooms are normal - no sea view 6) near to sea but not on beach, location not good...not good for family My genuine suggestion not to book if you are going with family

We stayed 5 nights at the Ocean Bay Beach Resort, longer than planned: very well located, near the sea, the restaurants, the shops and very quiet and secluded. Satish, the general manager, was very helpful. We recommand this hotel.

Nice and clean rooms. Good Staff and the best part is closeness to the beach (just 100 Mts. (approx) away from one of the beautiful beaches of Kovalam. Beautiful view from the room, surrounded by greenery. Good (& Safe) for Family stay. Hotel with lift facility. They just have to work on the quality of their breakfast.
