This is NOT PET FRIENDLY as claimed in the narration. They don't allow pets. It is mentioned wrongly in the description that they allow pets. When I called and enquired in their number, the manager Mr. Praveen told that they don't allow pets.

We enjoyed our stay at Hawah. the manager and the staff were very nice and helpful. The rooms are very clean. We stayed in the non a/c room overlooking the water for the half the time and loved it. It had a fridge and fan so the a/c room wasn't really necessary. The other half of the time we stayed in the bottom rooms. These are not as nice so it is best to pay the extra for the better rooms. The bottom rooms are noisier, smaller and the bathrooms are not as good. Nevertheless they were clean, which is what I look at first.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone as it has been the best place we have stayed in all of India.
Make sure you visit Fusion restaurant as the food is good and they are clean.

Well looked after place on the beach, clean and comfortable stay. Stayed here for new-year time for 10 nights. Reasonably priced. No room service, but plenty of restaurants and cafe's are all over the beach. You can get breakfast included with some package, but is basic and only few items on the menu. Very friendly and helpful staffs. The location is great and midway of light house beach. Beach, shops and restaurants are 10 meters away. Highly recommended for families and couples.

I visited Kovalam on 21.1.2020 and stayed at Hawah beach resort for 2 nights with my parents. I booked their superior room via their website and their hotel agents were extremely helpful during the whole booking process. They assured to provide best quality rooms on arrival. On arrival they gave us free upgradation to their suite room which was excellent neat and clean with private balcony area with chair table which looks over sea. Hotel persons take you from their parking area to the hotel which is hardly 3-4 mins walk which was not at all a big deal. Water line is just in front of the hotel. Hotel has rooftop restaurant with pretty good quality south and north Indian food. They also had buffet for breakfast and dinner ( probably on request by a big group not 100% sure). Hotel staffs were very cordial and helpful. I can totally recommend this hotel to the group of friends and also family

Provided suite room with Broken furniture. AC water was leaking inside the room. The worst breakfast I even had in life. Guys, Do not book this property even they provide you Five Hundred rupee a day.

I was travelling with my father. Who is 83 year old. And the guard at the parking said 5 minutes walk to hotel. He was very rude. They have wheelchair at the hotel. But the guard made my father walk all the way. Food was cold, no authentic Kerala food. Why do you want to serve paneer? when you don't know how to cook it.

1. Toilet is very dirty 2. scorpion available in toilets. That is very risky. 3. There is no safety for rooms. curtains at window is not available. 4. Although location is near by beach but far away from road. 5. If there is any senior citizen then don't prefer. you have to walk near about 400-500 meter. 6. rude behavior of staffs.

It was great staying with GOKULAM. People here are so polite, friendly and respectful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to stay and it also and it has a great sky bar. 100% recommended. It also has a pool, washrooms are neat and clean. Room service is great.

the rooms on the top floor numbered 300's seem quite nice, spacious, cool and with an outside area to sit and relax and some with nice views. Unfortunately that's not what we got. The numbers 202, 203 etc were dingy, opened onto an alleyway and the towels are awful. The main positive is the location and slow internet .... Top Tip: Buy a washing machine and some new towels and bedding and give guests something clean to dry with and lie on, otherwise they won't come back!

Dare you think of Spending your hardcore money with this so called resort. Worst hotel i found so far in this trip. No amenities provided like water & food. Resort doesn't have a pool, restaurant other things you cant think off. You need to walk aprox 700m to get into hotel as no road connected with it. No vehicle can be parked nearby. From hotel view is good but if you get a room at 3rd floor of the resort, i got so. No staff for carrying luggage, security deprived. Manager or owner can tell you his achievements but cant upgrade his so called resort.

You are booked through travel agent. Some people will suffer in silence and then just write letters about it online whereas others will come up when they have misgivings (usually unjustified) shouting and roaring all in the hope of getting something for free. .We have guests from all over India as well as abroad and they are treated with respect, honor and providing the best standard of service. And we regret to say that we have not met such an undeserving client. As a big majority of people, but I understand, It is not easy to satisfied 100% of clients. We have restaurant in front of our Resort and many choice restaurants in beach area too. Our Resort located in right on the beach and distance 5 Minutes walk able from the light house, carrying luggage’s our porters available at anytime. Hawah beach resort is a complete budget resort, what are the amenities in our resort, we are mentioned in our website and clearly mentioned through email our travel agents and tour operators. The alcohol ban was upheld by the High court recently and after my latest visit, where it was business as usual. I Would suggest that you write hotel management to ask how it has been applied.
Since there are five star hotels, it should be possible to get a drink there.
And maybe you can bring your own;-)
There are more places to choose from in the Kovalam area.
