The best place I have been to is in Kovalam. First, the amazing sea view from the panoramic windows of the room. Also, amazing view of the active lighthouse. The staff deserves special thanks. Responsive and friendly. Ready to help solve any problem. Restaurant with amazingly delicious food. Ready to come back here again and again for this restaurant. Would also like to emphasize ayurvedic procedures. Attentive doctors prescribe amazing treatments. They help you to forget about all your problems and devote time to yourself. Also, from pluses it is own exit on a beach, location in a quiet place and proximity of sights. It is a wonderful place.

I felt like I just had the best time of my life. I cannot think of anything else in terms of Ayurveda Wellness other than Rockholm now. Right from the check in I was thrilled by the warmth and welcome offered by the staff there. My room had a view that was nothing less than heaven. As it is an Ayurveda resort, I was immediately given a doctors appointment just after the check-in was done. After a brief consultation I was suggested some treatments which was a part of the package I booked. Food there is prepared with utmost care and precautions to align with your on going treatment. The view from restaurant was breathtaking as well. One of the nicest swimming pool areas I have ever witnessed, and the pool was crystal clear all the time. Staff was eager to help everytime we called them. I went to the pool almost every morning and evening. One of the main Highlight for my stay is the Yoga experience in Morning and Evening. Our Yoga instructors were so helpful especially Mr Abhilasha Soman which identified my hamstring stiffness and helped me to overcome as much as possible during my stay. Moving on to Ayurveda treatments, I was simply amazed by the knowledge of the therapists. Therapists were focusing on the suggested areas of my body every day and they kept checking if I was comfortable. I used to eagerly wait for Ayurveda Massage everyday. Staff at restaurant was very welcoming and helpful, they even prepared a dessert on my Birthday specially for me. Also they were kind enough to fulfil all my daily requests for the food. Beach access is so nice, that you feel like you are just a door step away from the beach. They also have spread a number of beds near the beach so that you can enjoy the waves crashing on the rocks. I would suggest everyone to at least come here for minimum of 10 days, anything less will not feel enough… …

Rockholm resort... We stayed and got some treatment at last month. Its beautiful and well-maintained resort in Kovalam. They offers a range of amenities including a restaurant, ayurveda, spa, pool, and free WiFi. Ayurveda vishak, Reception manager Satish kumar, Reception staff ansi those admired myself through their friendly services. The rooms are clean, stylish, and spacious. The hotel is located near beach so sunset was amazing. Overall, Rockholm is highly recommended for its excellent service and lovely experience. Keep going..like this.

We visited the Rockholm for our 20th wedding anniversary and stayed in the Penthouse suite. The views from this room are sublime and you feel as if you are over the Arabian Sea, which you nearly are. You don’t come to this resort for anything other than to relax, refresh and reenergise and you start that with the amazing views. The service from start to finish was excellent and this included swift communication beforehand. My only disappointment was that given the occasion, there was no simple acknowledgement - a simple card in the room, some fruit or even some bed art! I think some of this was chargeable and that’s not what we are used to. The room, the only Penthouse is nice and it’s usp is the huge balcony and views. The shower in the bathroom is nice but overall the room is quite standard - nothing, other than the balcony that lifts it to the price level chargeable. The food in the restaurant is excellent and it is a case of ask if you don’t see it - they will make it for you and it’s amazing. The food is very much non veg and catered at detoxification etc etc … but non veg options are available and it’s all delicious. Alcohol is strictly prohibited - and that’s completely understandable considering the values and vision of the resort. The guys serving were excellent as was the chef who came out to check on us. Big shout out to Sumesh who was incredibly attentive. As we were staying only one night we had a basic consultation and an incredible ayurvedic massage each which involved oil on the body and dripping on the head! Amazing! I could really imagine totally recharging here by staying at least 5 nights but for us the trip did the job. A special mention to the guys that carried out my massage - they were excellent - Krishna and Rajaneesh, and the view from room and the waves lashing against the rocks sent me to sleep very quickly. The pool is quite small but very well looked after as is the lawn directly in front. The views again are excellent as they are in any area of the resort. So all in all this is a great boutique hotel with around 20 odd rooms which makes it feel very homely. I’ve been to Kovalam many times before but this is the best hotel for the views. So what would I change, not much really as it does what it says it does on the time. Perhaps a lick of paint here and there - I think the route to the penthouse needs updating as does the room itself with little touches such as electronically opening blinds which can be timed for the sunset and sunrise. Other than this nothing else! The new management took over in 2019 and are clearly doing a great job as there is a real buzz about this place locally. It’s less well known internationally (for the mainstream clientele) but I’m sure will make its mark on this stage as it continues to develop. Well done Rockholm!…
