If you want to be spoiled, this is the place to go! They handled all of our excursions, providing the best guides, they provided a wonderful breakfast and then sent you off with a good lunch, including drinks. Awesome people to stay with, in a great location!

This lodge is in a wonderful location for area activities. The trophy lodge has a friendly staff lead by Alex and provided a friendly professional atmosphere. “Most” activities arranged through the lodge were wonderful. Weather and sickness almost stopped us from our “fly-in" but they were able to save this activity which was the number one thing we wanted to do and see. We were very thankful. Breakfast and lunch provided hit the spot and the pastries left for the quest each day were super yummy and delicious. The one thing they could control but didn’t was our ocean fishing trip!! We departed the lodge at 3:45AM and drove 55 miles into Seward for a fishing trip to depart at 6:00 AM (they said “don’t be late they will leave you”) we were early and ready to fish. However, the captan was instructed by the owner to wait for almost an hour for 4 people who NEVER showed up. We lost almost and hour of fishing and when the weather turned bad we had to head in early. They cheated us out of our fishing time and for what we paid this was VERY wrong!!…

Great location for area activities. The trophy lodge has a great staff lead by Alex and provided a friendly professional atmosphere. All activities arranged through the lodge exceeded my expectations as we caught our limit each day out. Breakfast and lunch provided hit the spot and the pastries left for the quest each day were well prepared and delicious. My only negative about our experience at the lodge was with the size of the room and bath room. Small would be an understatement. the room had 2 beds and a night stand. Not much storage and not much room for 2 full size adult men. The shower in the bath was so small it was difficult to manuver to get a good shower in in. Minior issues that did little to dampen a great trip.

Soldotna B & B - What a great place for us to stay for a few nights while fishing. The customer service was the best and that comes from a retired innkeeper. Our rooms were upscale, clean and comfortable. We fished from the dock and enjoyed the sunshine on the deck/patio. The breakfast was made to order with a wide variety of choices. There are many excursions available and I never heard a negative word from any of the guests. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Just returned from a wonderful trip to the Soldotna B&B on June 25th. Alex and the staff at the lodge were wonderful, always very helpful and kept us ready for each days fishing. I can't say enough good things about each of our guides. Ian on the Kasilof. river drift trip, Joe on the ocean trip out of Homer and Boaz on the Kenai were all very friendly, professional and got us on fish. My son and I went to celebrate my 75th birthday and it was a truly memorable experience. Alaskan Fishing really has there act together even during these crazy Covid. times!

"1 full-day (8-9 hour) Trophy Rainbow Trout/Salmon Fishing/wildlife watching tour on the middle Kenai river." We were removed from the king salmon trip (didn't learn of this until the morning of) on the Kenai river while others at the lodge got second trips, we were then placed with a guide who took us to a section of river that was commercially fished the day before. The manager of the lodge was ignorant enough to expect us to be okey with this. Compensation wasn't offered/breach of contract. Other booked outings went well, but missing a key part of the trip leaves a bad taste. You take your chances with this business.

Hello I am the new owner of this lodge starting this year. We are Alaskan Fishing Adventures and Anglers Lode, all of our fishing is done with our own guides for now on. We are in control of every trip as all guides are employees of the lodge. Our guides are exceptional and have many years of experience on both rivers. Our ocean fishing in Homer and Seward are also owned by the lodge. Please give us a chance again and I assure you your trip will be more than memorable. Check us out on our TripAdvisor. Anglers Lodge Kenai River you will see we are excellent at what we do. Also feel free to give us a call and ask for Mark to let me know what we want to keep from happening in the future.

Bill, Steve and Monika provided a wonderful experience for us. We found the B&B comfortable, clean and welcoming. They provide a flexible list of adventures to choose from. The whole staff was friendly and professional. We would not hesitate to recommend Soldotna B&B to anyone!

My husband and I just returned from a 6 day stay at the Soldotna B&B Lodge. They provided a excellent cooked breakfast each day and amazing lunches for our trips out. The staff were incredible. The room was very clean and well taken care of. I was very relieved about this as it was my husband who made all of the arrangements. He did good. The owners made everyone feel very welcome and comfortable. Beautiful property to relax after a busy day. There was a road shut down so for one day we could not get to our destination. Before we could even ask they were on the phone rescheduling our trip so we did not have a down day. This was actually two days that needed to be rescheduled and switched around. The owners are amazing. I can not say enough wonderful things about our stay. I would rate them above a 10 with 10 being the best.…

With 20 years of experience, we have learned to roll with the punches and adapt to almost any situation. This nearby fire has made it VERY challenging this summer and has left us constantly scrambling (due to intermittent closure of the Sterling Highway) to figure out how to best meet our guests expectations given the difficult circumstances. Best fishing lodge in the area! Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Lodge is warm and comfortable. Daily breakfast is yummy! Very personalized service. Great excursions! Staff will process and pack all your fish!

Had a great time staying at the lodge and fishing on the Kenai! We ended our Alaska trip with a Fly Fishing Fast One three day package at Soldotna B&B. I lost count, but probably caught and released close to 50 rainbows. The only down side is we had to leave!
