We stayed in Early June and had an amazing time. Rented cabin 5 on the river, 1 bedroom with twins in the loft. Cabin was comfortable and well equipped and we would defiantly stay here again. Only downer was we were a bit early in the season and the lodge was not open for dinn

We stayed here August 13-16 and had a great time fishing for silver salmon. River bend resort has nice cabins, top notch service, and easy access to the water to go on a guided trip or fish from the shore. We fished on the Kenai River and caught a lot of pink salmon and got our l

Friendly staff that works hard to make sure you’re having a good time and reach your limit. We were newbies and had a great time. Maybe not the best to do with kids, but that’s just because we had a rougher, yet fun group.

We chartered with them and had an excellent guide, Josh, he was very knowledgeable and tried hard to get our limit! My husband and I plus another couple fished all afternoon and had a blast! We would definitely come back and request Josh! Thank you!

My wife and I stayed here after a week on a cruise. The Cho family showed us incredible hospitality. We stayed at the lodge which was very comfortable, quiet, and a great place to fish. This resort is best for serious fishing -- probably a little too much for my wife. But the gui

how do reserve a room at this resort? we are a group of two people and would be staying 3 to 4 days.
I am not sure Dohn and his team have a charter package that short. I hope you can stay and fish longer. Call them at (907) 252-4862. Any fishing here is A+++

Can fishing gear be rented at Kenai Riverbend Resort or do we need to bring our own?
They provide all gear you could possibly need free of charge. If you wish to bring your own personal fly rod, not advisable for fishing the river, then you can bring it.

Aloha, I'm in the preliminary stages of planning my first trip to Alaska. Primarily interested in fishing, checking out glaciers & seeing wildlife. Do you folks provide all the fishing gear/license & also clean/pack up any fish caught in a fashion acceptable to the airlines? Do you have available a list of, or referrals to, side trips to see glaciers? I would be traveling alone so would most likely stay in the lodge. Do any of the rooms have river views? What are your room rates for late June, early July? Would I need a rental car or is there ample public transportation or is everything within walking distance? Thank you for any information you can provide. Susan
Thank you for your interest in Kenai Riverbend Resort. You will need a rental car in Anchorage as public transportation is not ample. The only thing that is walking distance is the Kenai River Fishing Charter because we are located on the river. We do have the fishing licenses at the lodge and we can fillet, vacuum seal, freeze and box your catch. We have a great alaska adventure package that includes fishing, fly-out fishing and bear viewing and a glacier cruise out of Seward. Lodge rooms do have views of the Kenai River. Hope this helps. Let us know if you way any other questions. Don

"any of the cabins would be good."
"The cabins are great for groups!"
"Book a Cabin for 4 or more people, the Trophy Lodge for anything else. The Main Lodge is dated but good."
"Rooms in the lodge are for 2-4. Cabins are also available for 4-8 people. Property is situated right on the Kenai River - very scenic!"
"No in-room wifi, but free wifi is available at the office."
