My brother and I purchased a package of 6 nights at the lodge with 5 days of fishing. This is not real wilderness fishing but it sure was a lot of fun. The pricing was reasonable. We flew into Anchorage and drove down to Soldotna. A nice drive, too, which I have done a number of times before. Beautiful roads....

Clean and comfortable rooms. Delicious breakfast and wonderful Friday night Halibut fish fry. Jim and Elaine were great host. All of our fishing trip arrangements were perfect. The flyout trip was unforgettable! Our fish was packed and ready to fly home! This was the best vacation ever!

Stayed at Denise Lake Lodge who arranged all of our fishing excursion. First day was to fish for halibut but was rescheduled due to windy conditions. As an alternative, we fished a half day on the Kenai river for sockeye. This turned out to be great with 11 guys catching a total of 33. It took work but the result...

Words cannot describe what a great vacation my husband I had. We stayed at Denise lodge July 25-31 of the year. The fishing was absolutely phenomenal. We feel it is because Jim (lodge owner) really knows his stuff and has great connections. Everything about the lodge was great; the rooms, the people, the food. We will defiantly be back. I...

We stayed at Denise Lodge in June of this year. We loved the fishing and almost limited out every time. Our fly out trip was outstanding but wet and cold. Jim and Elaine had the fireplace going for us ! They were like family.

Cabins small but comfortable. Don't go for the TV (very small, but works). Best features are outside the cabins - the lake on the grounds and the main lodge with the beautiful dining room and excellent cook staff. We did not partake of the fishing, but will likely do so with them on our next visit. Very likely to stay...

i want to start by saying the lodge and rooms were very clean. The older couple that own the lodge are very nice. Now that being said, make sure that their is no communication problems. I did not have any big problems but I made sure by the time I went to bed that I knew exactly what time that...

Clean well kept resort. Great Alaska setting just minutes from town. The owners are friendly and very accommodating. The food and service was first rate. The guide services used are professional and knowledgeable. Owners work at structuring trips to guests schedules. Highly recommend Ritchie Davis Missouri 2014

Denise Lake B&B was perfect for us. It's away from mainstream tourism but close to several good restaurants. The Denise Lake staff prepared our breakfasts and lunches and they were all wonderful. They have a lodge as well, but we chose a cabin and everything was clean and quiet. The setting is beautiful and the staff extremely helpful. Once we...
