Great for small groups/families. Beautiful property in an ideal location. Accommodations were very comfortable and being on the lake was awesome. Only a few minutes from town and close to all things fishing. Highly recommend. Very affordable and all the perks of having a house/cabin ....kitchen, BBQ, horseshoe pit etc.....

After having just spent 11 days here I can report I was not disappointed . We rented both of the smaller cabins. 3 guys stayed in each with no problem. The cabins had everything we needed for our trip. The view was very nice of the lake and the fire pit was used several nights. The garage on sight was...

Just returned from a 5 night stay at Mallard's Nest. My husband and I went to celebrate his recent retirement. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Perfect for the two of us, all the amenities we could ask for (including a vacuum sealer for all the fish we caught) and tucked away overlooking Denise Lake. Dave and...

My husband and I stayed in the Backcountry Cabin in July 2015. We loved it! It's small, but plenty of room for 2 adults. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed...they even had complementary oatmeal and hot chocolate. We used the canoes that were available down by the lake. There are no fish in Denise Lake. The...

Thank you so much! The Richardsons were very a helpful couple. They even helped us plan before arrival! Recommended fishing guides, attractions, and activities. We met other amazing groups during our stay .The people visiting were so happy to be there too! The place had a fireplace, firepit, fishing, biking, floatplanes, laundry, plenty of beds, grill, oven, & crockpot. They had...

Just returned from a week at Alaska Serenity. We rented the entire King Salmon for 4 couples and could not have been more comfortable. It had everything we could have possibly needed and Dave, Katie and Elizabeth were more than helpful! Dave had arranged some fishing trips for us and when one of them was not going to be a...

The Mallard's Nest was the perfect little cabin for four nights of our trip. It was mid-week so it seemed like we had the place to ourselves. Beautiful, relaxing setting after our excursions, so relaxing, in fact, that we opted to grill at the cabin, rather than go out most nights. The cabin had everything we needed, right down to...

We stayed two nights while visiting Soldotna to go fishing and bear viewing. We had the upper floor of the main lodge which included two bedrooms, a large living room/dining room area and a full kitchen. The lake is beautiful and the setting was so relaxing that we opted to spend our first night grilling dinner, roasting marshmallows in the...

The owners, Dave and Katie, are very friendly and attentive to their guests' comfort. They called us several times before our trip to make sure we knew how to get there and to see if we needed anything. When a highway closure delayed our arrival by 7 hours, she made sure the room was left open and that the lights...

We rented the entire lodge for our short 5 day trip. It was myself & my husband, my sister-in-law & father-in-law and I have to say, this lodge is awesome! It was very private for all of us, and very close to where we went fishing. The lodge was very spacious and super clean. We really didn't need to rent...
