In short…this trip was amazing! When I started planning a trip to Alaska for my husband and I, the only thing on his list was salmon fishing. We did a ton of research on various fishing spots and lodges before we settled on Wilderness Place Lodge and I am so glad that we did!! The property is beautiful, the food...

Just returned from 3 fantastic days of fishing. My husband and I learned to fish, while our angler grandson hooked some beauties thanks to our wonderful guide Max. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves thanks to the setting, the hospitality of everyone on staff, plus the delicious food and comfortable cabin. We'll be re-hashing this trip of our great memories for years...

Short Version: We just spent 4 days/4 nights at WPL and the fishing was great! We caught fish everyday - seven different species in total. Our guide, Andrew, was amazing. He put us right on the fish wherever he took us and knew exactly what to use and how to fish it. The staff was unbelievable, catering to every desire...

Wonderful fishing lodge. Staff is excellent, Beautiful setting, comfortable beds. Chef prepared meals. The staff couldn't be more accommodating & helpful. Knowledgable guides. The fishing gear was top notch & of coarse the fish were spectacular. When you think fly in fishing in Alaska, you expect more of a camping adventure. The accommodations are rustic yet tasteful. We had a...

Every time I thanked them, they thanked me. No 5 star hotel has a better staff than this! And the food was Fantastic.

My husband Dan and I have known each other over seventeen years, and our five-day trip to Wilderness Place Lodge on Lake Creek might be the best idea we've ever had. We had no clue that two total novices to Alaskan river fishing could learn so much, fish so many hours of the day, or eat so well in the...

Yes, Pete has been listening to me and my two boys Seth and Matt (his cousins) for quite some time. What really blew me away is that my brother Tom (Pete's dad) even came along. Ya, I'm the "pied piper" that got 5 new guys together (last time 6 guys) to experience AK up close and personal. After my first...

Hey Pete, Thanks man. We really appreciate your review of our Alaska lodge! We so much appreciate you visiting our very blessed wilderness place. I can't say the fish feel the same.
