This is a basic Inn with accommodation above a bar/restaurant. The rooms and bathroom are rather basic (don't expect a hair-drier) but it was clean enough. Walls are fairly thin and you might want to have ear-plugs handy in case you have noise room neighbours. There's no breakfast included, we just got some coffee from the little grocery shop across...

We loved Alaska, Moose Pass and the Trail Lake Lodge. The staff works hard, the owner loves Alaska and the area, the location is beautiful, great food. We would definately will stay there again. I miss alaska.

We stayed one night on our way to Seward. This place is ok for people who are hunting or fishing trip who doesn't care about amities,or the comforts of home. No hair dryer! Very small rooms. Needs to be updated!!! Should have spent an extra 50 or so and stayed in Seward!

Stopping on a bus tour for a comfort stop, we were treated to cookies and a drink. Excellent views of the lake. Lovely countryside and plenty of action on the lake with float planes taking off and landing.

It's really good for the location and the price. Your a half hour from Seward and the price is very good for what your paying for. Rooms were clean and the beds were decent(not great). The restaurant was very good also.

Was kind of disappointed as we were placed in a room with twin beds instead of a double. The walls were quite thin and you could hear people next door. We stayed two nights and housekeeping didn't make our beds and barely cleaned the bathroom. The restaurant/bar was rustic and had pretty good food. Looks like a place where the...

For 1& 1/2 hours starting after midnight the manager and her friends partied outside and just two doors down from our room. I talked to them and this made no difference. They totally did not care if we were able to sleep or not! The manager has an apartment in the motel and this is where the party took place....

We stayed for 3 nights. Rooms are older. We had no issues, just things like the creaky floor, old TV that gets only 4 channels, etc. We did eat breakfast in the restaurant and really liked the omelet with the reindeer sausage. Go and sit on the dock by the lake and enjoy the view while you watch the planes...

Trail Lake Lodge is nestled in Moose Pass, AK along Highway 9 about 30 miles north of Seward. The mountains and Trail Lake provide a stunning view. Steamer (owner) and staff made my husband and I feel welcomed and they were always going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable! We had an all-inclusive package, which included several fishing...

Very Clean, great service, plenty of room for us. Beautiful lake next to the hotel with places to sit and view the lake. Fluffy towels. Great WiFi service. "Steamer", the owner, is a retired Marine and very personable and hardworking. He greets all guests, and is very interesting to talk to. His employees work hard, and do a GREAT job....
