My husband and I wanted to break up our trip somewhat around Alaska and we found the quaint little jewel. It was once a b&b and just by visiting with the precious owner I bet it was awesome. Teddy is a wonderful lady and a gracious hostess we loved our 2 night stay here. Plenty of space to sprawl, read... More

We stayed one night at Teddy's. It was the cleanest place we stayed on the whole trip. The cookies and fresh flowers were an unexpected bonus that made us feel even more welcome. The owners greeting and visit made the experience even better. The boys loved the built in beds. The books and games provided made for an easy start... More

Teddy's in the Woods is a quiet, lovely centrally located home that is so comfortable you will not want to leave! Beautifully and lovingly decorated in decor that pays homage to Alaska and its beauty. Beds are comfortable to say the least with quality linens. Great kitchen if you wish to prepare and meal. Clean as a pin!! The cubby... More

This bed and breakfast is amazing! It's one of the most immaculate places I've stayed at. Our host is very nice and we enjoyed chatting with her. The grounds are charming and quaint. The living quarters feels like home. It's sits away from the main home and is very private. The bed is very comfortable and our two young boys... More

We loved our stay at Teddy's Inn the Woods. We stayed for 2 nights in June and were so happy we did. The apartment was charming, as was our host. We felt as if we had found a gem in the middle of the Alaskan wilderness. There are excellent hiking trails nearby and the location was close enough to Seward... More

We were lucky enough to find this gem in the wild Alaska! Stayed there for 5nights in June. Photos that are put up do not justify the place. The place is roomy(700SqFT) with a full kitchen! Teddy is a very sweet lady. She made sure we were comfortable. The rooms have big windows and you could see the snow cap... More

I have a medical condition that makes me very sound sensitive. We explained this at the time of our reservations (5 months prior to our arrival) and again, 1 month before arriving. The upstairs apartment was clean and colorful as advertised but the NOISE level was unbelievable. Details: In December 2015, we started shopping for a comfortable place near Seward... More

This place is awesome. Very well laid out for the space that is there. The B&B is over a garage with a back entrance from a nice deck. Inside is bigger than you'd think from the outside. Your own kitchen, separate bedroom and the living room has two build in bunks with curtains which worked well for traveling with my... More

We shared this B&B with another couple. The decor is very tasteful and interesting. Teddy's breakfasts were a delight for the eyes and the stomach -- even though she had to traipse through the rain to bring it to us on a couple of occasions. Don't let the bunk beds discourage you from selecting this property. I'm 6'3" and had... More
