This is a nice place to stay at an affordable place. Entire bed & breakfast was clean and well taken care of. Bed was comfortable. Shared a bathroom and the owner has tons of products available in case you forget something, such as hair soap. Breakfast was a variety of food and pretty much self serve. She has a family...

I was with a family group of 5 and we stayed at Cranky Crow B&B three nights. The beds were comfortable, the rooms quiet and with good closet-storage space, and the shared bathrooms worked out fine. There is a spacious shared living/kitchen area. We found the hospitality and friendliness of our hosts exceptional, and their knowledge of the area (John...

Spent 5 nights here in July 2015 while in Kodiak for business. Hadn't planned on staying at a B&B, but it was the only option because of the limited hotel availability. First off, the home is on a side street, just off the main street, and was a little hard to find (the Cranky Crow sign is kind of small...

The Cranky Crow B&B is one of my go-to places in Kodiak for lodging :) Stephanie & Victor are great, low key hosts who have a nice downstairs area that they offer to their guests. They offer self-service style breakfasts (with a good variety of foods), and I especially enjoy their (updated) kitchen to prepare my meals, along with a...

This was a nice clean place. In basement of house but not musty--plenty of room. Would be a better rating, but awkward at first because a teenager was sitting in the living room watching TV until he was asked to leave. Then the previous tenants walked in the afternoon to finish cleaning out their stuff. No knock or ask-- a...

I loved that we had our own wing of the house. We had our own bathroom (although it was down stairs) and our own entrance. We were traveling with a 3 month old so we didn't want to disturb anyone and no one even knew we were there. They even let us use their laundry. I loved that it was...

I stayed at Cranky Crow B&B for three nights (May 2013). I found the place and its proprietors warm and welcoming. That was the off season in Kodiak so I got the advantage of having the common spaces to myself, but this would be a great stay with many guests. Just more friends to make. If you ever go to...

This place is spectacular! There is a huge kitchen where you can not only make your own breakfast, you can use it to make your breakfast or dinner too. We cooked the fish we had caught that day...so much better than eating at some restaurant. There is also a spacious living room area with a flat screen TV. I believe...

We stayed here for three nights in May. The place is not quaint or cute in any way as you might hope for from a B&B. It is the downstairs of a family's house. Although it is clean and has a well stocked kitchen, the only food available for a make your own breakfast was what others had left behind....

We stayed 3 nights in Kodiak, 2 of them at the Cranky Crow. It's absolutely clean and it's very well equiped (TV, Sat, WiFi). However, it's not as close to downtown as they say. You will definitely need a car. And we didn't have a single chance to talk to the owner. On the day we left, we had to...
