1. Weather - August & September usually has rain every day. 2. Lodge capacity - Tower Rock has a guest capacity of 24 per week. They are known to over book, lodging extras at a local motel. Great - except their dining room holds at max. of 20. You become packed in like sardines. 3. Fly fishing for silvers is...

If you are going to this region of Alaska, this is a "must stay" place. It has alll the typical things you would expect for a premium price ( great food, excellent accommodations, etc.) but what really makes it great is the warm and inviting staff. Everyone from the guides to the folks in the kitchen treat you amazing well...

I just 5 completed my 8th visit to Tower Rock Lodge and I have visited TRL as an individual, a couple along with my wife, and have used the facility as a sales incentive for the managers of the company. On all levels Mike and Mark Tuhy have performed admirably, they provide one with a can do attitude and have...

I complete my 6th visit to TRL this past July. As always, Mark and Mike were extremely flexible with my special arrangements, traveling as a single. Yea, I catch a lot of fish, but I visit in mid-July when the fish are in full time, so that is a pretty easy feat to accomplish. Don't get me wrong, you still...

We had a fantastic week at Tower Rock in late July 2014. It was the perfect family vacation. We loved, loved Jefferson house, a quirky well appointed house with beautiful stained glass accents. Mike, Griff and all of our guide could not have been more helpful and knowledgeable. The ladies in the dining hall always made sure we had everything...

My family of 6 stayed at Tower Rock Lodge in July for 3 nights. The staff greeted us and showed us to our rooms. We had the Jefferson house and a room in the Lodge. The rooms were typical of other fishing lodges that I have been to, comfortable , but not luxurious. The Jefferson house has one bedroom with...

On the Kenai peninsula on the Kenai River on the outskirts of Soldotna Alaska lies the best fishing//touring on the Kenai. Stayed there with three buddies for five nights and four days. The kitchen assistants the waitresses the head chef to the guides and finally the owner himself Mike Toohey were outstanding and the friendliest people you could ever meet!...

Just returned from a short four day stay at the Tower Rock Lodge along the Kenai River Alaska. What a fantastic time on and off the river.
