We visited this campground & found it to be nicer than previous reviews had written. First of all they do have some sites with full hookups. Second the sites & campground is maintained well enough compared to other Alaskan campground standards. There is no bad odor as said in previous reviews & no standing water. We didn't stay at this...

Very basic motel, no tv, no AC, no breakfast, tiny shower. But we had a comfy bed with clean sheets and a good sleep. The host is very friendly and it is close to the bear watching and the Salmon glacier. My wife forgot a ring in the room, it was still there when we came back hours later after...

If you want to do bear-watching, the advantage of staying (RV Park) here vs. the nicer Bear River campground in Stewart, B.C. is because it is less expensive, closer to the bear-watching platform, and you don't have to wait in line for customs re-entry into Canada with each bear trip. However, since Hyder is becoming a ghost town with only...

Stayed there in a 35 ft RV pulling a jeep. Plenty of room for us and our 3 dogs. Nice sites both open or shady. Sully and Cindy were beyond accommodating. They were amazing. You became their friends as soon as you pull up to the office. The sites were level and the park was clean. It's on the main...

Easy walk from "Downtown" Hyder. The building is clearly getting rundown from lack of maintenance. Truth is, I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't open in 2017 but fingers are crossed. We did not stay in the hotel but had drinks at the bar. Met some fun locals and the bar tender was top notch, friendly and welcoming. Stop in...

Great location right on the main road in Hyder. Clean and well kept although a couple of their washers were out of service. Sully is a great camp host - very helpful advising of things to do and see in town. Free WIFI. Has water and 30 amp electric on most sites.

Great biker friendly place to stop, a trip up the mountain road is worth it for the stunning glacier views and the local bear watch station is a short ride/drive away. Very helpful accommodating staff, comfortable basic rooms and a great bar with a nice mix of locals and travelers.

I stayed at Camp Run-A-Muck while bear watching in Hyder. I was able to get a campsite with electric at a very low rate (car camping & wanted to run a small heater at night). The bath house had bathrooms & showers, plus washers/dryers. It wasn't very crowded when I was there so I never had any issues getting a...

Very quiet rv park. I slept in my truck, but could have tented (though when I called, the women was shocked that I might do that). The wifi was slow (at best), and there is definitely no cell, but then again you are in a beautiful place, so maybe that's okay. Sully was very accommodating, and they have pay showers,...
