Good service, clean rooms, nice restaurant in the building. Awesome view, centrally located, quiet room, friendly staff, comfortable bed & bedding. Modern, smelled clean and nice, even the window out to the back was clean and sparkly!

Well, if you are looking for funky, historic, charm and character and good value (inexpensive) stay in the original building where you can cozy up by the rock fireplace and read or catch up on email. If new, modern is more your style, get one of their rooms in the new building across the street - where you will find...

Can't beat all the places you can walk to from this place. Beach, restaurants etc. only have stayed in the captains quarters room. Super small and outdated but clean and cozy. I keep going back to the same place.

Frankly, I selected this hotel because it was the cheapest I could find with a good review. The room I took was their smallest. It uses all the space saving tricks you might find on a boat or an RV and I thought it was quite fun. It is clean, quiet, and right next to the beach. After that first...

What is important to me is a VERY clean, safe, comfortable, well heated place to stay with Internet services and an excellent shower room. Secondly, what I like at this place is the respectable staff, access to the beach and wonderful merchants. Driftwood Inn has all of this! If you are traveling from outside Alaska, this would BE the place...

The rooms were very clean and well decorated. The people were very nice and helpful. I had a nice view from my room. It was in a handy location for me. I would definitely stay here again, and would recommend it to my friends.

Maybe nicer than some homes. We stayed 2 nights at the Seaside Lodge in a delightful room with huge windows looking out on the bay. Very nicely furnished, very clean, and a very helpful staff made it a pleasant stay. This place has all the comforts of home. Great for families and fussy travelers.

We stayed at the woodside building, I think it was unit #1. We had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, it was like our own apartment on vacation. I slept great in my bed, it was very comfy and had nice pillows and blankets. The staff was great and unobtrusive but helpful when needed. It was very clean and had things...

Love this place! Staff are great, rooms are perfect, I've stayed with Driftwood 4 times now. I'll keep coming back. Clean rooms, nice ambiance, could not ask for more. Quiet with the salty sea scent coming through the windows. Perfect.

My friend and I stayed in the RV park for a couple of nights - nice, clean campground. Impeccably clean, modern indoor bathrooms/showers. Location is kind of meh, at least by Alaska standards. Adjacent to beach, but you feel like you’re between the town and the bay, and the best views/spots are a bit of a walk away (maybe I...
