The front desk person was helpful and friendly. She gave us advice in things to do and how to get there. The bed was comfortable (hotel beds are often too firm). The room was clean. Great place to stay! The price was right too at $160 a night.

After seeing room and knowing I would lose my reward points that I used to book room, I still opted to move to another hotel. Hotel and room were very dreary and dated. Hotel smelled like curry from restaurant. Lighting in room was a 40 watt at best. Steer clear unless you really don't care what the place looks like.

Overall, the Beluga rates a "solid" average in nearly all categories. It is conveniently located south of town and the Spit. The mattresses are in good shape. The rooms are fairly clean but really dated decor. Some rooms are handicap accessible. The kitchen in our unit (207) was outdated with wooden cabinets from circa 1950s. There is no dining area...

We have been coming here for 5 years and will continue to come back. This is a nice location with a friendly staff. Rooms are accommodating to your needs, whether you have 2 or 8 people. Rates are very good and they have a bar/grill that opens daily at 3pm.

Stayed 2 nights. Good location between downtown and Homer Spit. The staff that we met were so friendly and helpful in sharing the comparisons of the Homer region compared to other locales, and shared the names of their favorite restaurants which we tried and loved. The accommodations overall are OK, but a bit "tired". We were in a room in...

Got a room for 2 nights and ended up staying 4 nights. Room was clean and motel was centrally located with a great view of beluga lake and the floatplanes taking off and landing- but the best part was the friendliness and helpfulness the staff. Last year I stayed at the best western in homer but the beluga lake lodge...

Went to dinner here with the family and had an excellent dining experience. We had the calamari appetizer which was large enough to feed all four of us, and then some! We went there for the smoked prime rib special which did not disappoint, and was very reasonably priced!

After a couple of nights in a rustic camper van, the Beluga Lake Lodge offered simple lodgings, with a much appreciated hot shower. The site is midway between the town of Homer and the attraction of the Homer Spit, which anyone visiting the town is going to want to see. The "motel" is a tad shabby, and our room (134)...

Needed a quick overnight after float plane trip got weathered in (or is it "out"). This is close to float planes and wheeled aircraft. Reasonable price considering tourist season us still here, albeit just barely. Diane tried very hard to keep guests as separated as possible to keep neighborly noise infiltration to a minimum. Nice, cozy room.

We stayed here two nights during our Homer visit and we really liked it here, It is a close drive to Homer Spit and walking distance to the grocery store (I mile). It is an older lodge with small rooms, but it was perfect for us, clean and cozy. The front desk was really friendly and accommodating. Our fishing charter...
