The view (if you have a water view room) is lovely. However, if you have a parking lot view room, it's very noisy and uninviting. No air conditioning, so if you want a cooler room you'll need to leave the window open (which my husband had to fix, as it was broken). That means you hear parking lot noise all...

Thank you for choosing Land's End Resort and for your nice comments about our location. The condo homes are exquisite. In case we have the opportunity to host you again, I do want to make you aware that we have two other wings in the main hotel (with the majority of our rooms) that have bigger more conventional rooms i.e....

We stayed in the Land's End Condos and it was wonderful. Very comfortable, amazing views and so much near by. We were sorry we did not book another day to just chill out. We had friends who stayed in the hotel rooms and they were so envious of our dwelling! Theirs looked more like dorm rooms so choose wisely.

Thank you for choosing Land's End Resort. We hear very often from guests that they wish they had planned more of their Alaska adventure here in Homer. The condo homes are very luxurious indeed. In the hotel, we do have the smaller Port rooms but we also have large Mid-Ship King and Starboard Suite rooms which are priced higher than...

The hotel is located at the end of a spit into Kachemak Bay. You are surrounded by blue water, glacial mountains, flying eagles, otter playing near shore. It doesn't get bette than this. Ask for a waterfront room on the second or third floor. The furnishings are not fancy, but the view is the thing. Dining room and lounge are...

Thank you for choosing Land's End Resort and for taking the time to share your experience. I agree with you, it does not get any better than the end of the Homer Spit on the shores of Kachemak Bay. It is a wondrous place plentiful in wildlife and beautiful scenery. 90% of our rooms are view rooms too as we...

The new Dreamtime Spa (under new management) at the Land's End Resort gave me a healing treatment that was the best I've ever had. I was able to get right in without a long wait. The price was affordable and well worth the investment in feeling good. Don't miss the view!!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Land's End. Being at the end of the spit in Homer was so much fun watching the sea otters everyday and all the fishing boats coming and going. I would definitely recommend staying there. The room we had was very nice and an excellent ocean view.

Thank you for choosing Land's End Resort and for your nice comments. Even working here is amazing and to me the "view" seems different everyday and changes with the season but it is always beautiful and always includes wildlife viewing opportunities. Homer and the end of the Homer Spit surrounded by Kachemak Bay is one to have on your bucket...

Homer is a small town...at the end of town is the "Homer Spit" which is a long narrow "spit" of land that runs out. It is narrow and has a variety of small shops on either side...this is not a glamorous shopping experience...basic touristy stuff and a few restaurants. The main industries are fishing and oil...It is very charming in...

Thank you for choosing Land's End Resort and for your very nice comments about Homer and our resort. I agree completely with your assessment of choosing a view room, I recommend that highly to everyone. We have experienced unexpected difficulties with our Wi-Fi coverage over the last week but we have taken several steps that should eliminate the short-term issue...

Thank you for choosing the Dreamtime Spa and for sharing your feedback. The treatment rooms provide an inspiring setting from atop our resort, I call it the crow's nest. Katherine and her team are experienced and professional. I am thrilled that you enjoyed your treatment and massage and we are excited to have Catherine back.

The hotel is located at the very end of the Homer Spit with a wonderful view of Cook's Inlet and the Mountains.rooms are spacious but old. Food in restaurant is fabulous and service fantastic. Great place to go cycling or for a run. There is a bike path that runs alongside the coast.
