We live in Anchorage and occasionally stay at Alyeska to be able to night ski and make it easy for an early morning ski. The hotel is clean and very comfortable. It is slowly beginning to show its age - but it is very clean & the beds are comfortable! I would suggest not to schedule a family weekend over... More

The location of this hotel is so incredibly convenient to get into the mountain with the tram being located right there. Food at the tramway cafe was really yummy! Breakfast burritos and coffee were both really good there.

We stayed 2 nights at The Alyeska in August 2015 and loved it. I didn't realize it was more of a ski destination but it was perfect for our time in Girdwood and made me want to come back when there was snow on the mountains ( Northface Trail!!). We took the tram to the top of the mountain- a... More

Just speaking about the Spa here: Paid well over $300 for an 80 minute couples massage for my girlfriend and I.. First of all, they only gave us 65 minutes. You would expect after paying that amount of money that they would at least give you the full time that you paid for. Secondly, they spent all this time beforehand... More

Very good resort! Quiet rooms, good food, great pool and jacuzzi. Great shuttle service around the area - very family friendly - great staff. Great skiing for the advanced skier and also good deals on ski packages for lessons and lift tickets. Great music at the Sitzmark.

I stayed at the Alyeska for my first time recently and I will plan on going back. The hotel and restaurant staff are very helpful and friendly, the resort is beautiful, and the food is excellent. The only draw back was that the rooms could use some updating, but even "as is" they were nice!

Our room was comfortable, quiet, clean, and tidy. The pretzel rolls that they use for many of their dishes are very good but the breakfast food was just average. The check-in staff was very courteous and efficient. The room service staff were always kind and smiling (and performed their duties very well), but the food service staff could use a... More

The hotel's deal to get free lift tickets for each adult in your room from Sunday thru Thursday makes the trip affordable for families who might otherwise not be able to afford to go and stay at the hotel and ski.

We celebrated Christmas at this beautiful resort, a first time in Alaska. It was wonderful! Terrific, quiet rooms, despite a bustle of many guests during this busy season. Clean in the private and public spaces. Good restaurants and delis, nice shops, beautiful scenic surroundings, great skiing with efficient ski rentals. All in all an experience to remember!

A nice small resort, where you basically step out the door and onto a tram to the top of the mountain. We skied for several days, and the skiing was great. The staff was all very nice. By fiance and I got engaged while we were there and the front desk sent us a bottle of champagne to celebrate, making... More
