The seafood buffet was very nice and well stocked,The key had to be changes every time I left the room and the price for the internet was very expensive.I found the restaurant prices and food average.

When we arrived there were no non-smoking rooms available although we had requested this months in advance. We had been told there was a laundry in town but they told us the only one was in the hotel and they might not be able to get our laundry done before we left in two days. WiFi was expensive so we...

Our room was spacious and had a lovely view of the lake - fun watching residents enjoy fishing. Enjoyed eagles swooping for fish and resting on light poles and nearby buildings. One of the two elevators was not working, but we enjoy taking staircases (small suitcases). Staff was helpful and friendly.

The hotel is probably the nicest on Unalaska. The rooms are large, quiet, and have nice views and the staff is friendly and there is free and courteous transportation. There were several issues. When I book a room with two beds and am quoted a price, I assume it's to cover two people. We were surprised on checkout to learn...

I didn't stay here, but checked it out while I was out walking from the cruise ship. The 3-story hotel is nicely appointed inside with great water views from all the rooms. I think the rooms on the back side have the best views as they look out on a little inlet. Views from the front rooms can be more...

Even though this is the only hotel in Unalaska (Dutch Harbor), the rooms, facilities and staff treated us like you would expect at any hotel in the lower 48. The food in the two restaurants was much better than we expected. The seafood was wonderful and the staff was exceptional.

I travel to Dutch on business on a fairly regular basis. The staff is always friendly, the food is usually very good and the rooms are comfortable. Try and book a stay when they are having their seafood buffet. It's one of the better ones I've had. The king crab is the highlight....

You know you are in Dutch Harbor because the hotel had WWII pill boxes in the parking lot. We stayed one night at the end of July following three days on the ferry and found most of the staff to be friendly and helpful. The room was clean, but wasn't available until later in the day than we hoped. No...

I just returned from my stay in early June. Weather was great and got a room on the 2nd floor facing the water. Wasn't super fancy - but room as good size and you can open the window. Good size bathroom and beds were fine. Working desk could have been a bit bigger - but most people work outside. Hotel...

The grand Aleutian hotel is surprisingly nice. The staff was helpful and professional. The rooms are nice. I'd suggest requesting a room on the lagoon side (facing away from the road). There's smoking in the hotel which vented into my room unfortunately. The breakfast ladies were great. When running late I'd ask for something fast and they'd put in an...
