Arden's is our favorite of all the B&B's we've stayed at. It's because of a magnificent view, it's not because if the location, it's because from the moment we walked in the door, we felt at home. It was like arriving at a family members home to spend the weekend for the Holidays. To set the scene, I'm not a...

Arden and her dad, Bill, were absolutely wonderful. Arden's place was a perfect location. We stayed there for 7 days in June 2015. From there we traveled to many sights and towns on the peninsula. Arden is a wealth of information on what hikes to take, places to visit and interesting tours. On top of all that, she is a...

Arden and her Dad welcomed us for an overnight stay. She offered to cook us dinner, a wonderful halibut dish. She is a fantastic cook and does catering as well. The room was spacious with a king bed. The bathroom was large and well appointed. Breakfast was bacon and eggs done just right.

This has been the absolute best part of our vacation. Friends had stayed here a couple of years ago and had recommended Arden's retreat and we booked without even looking the place up first! Boy am I glad we did. The best hospitality and food in Alaska I dare say. We were a family of 9 staying here and we...

I stayed at Arden's Kenai Lake Escape several times this past summer and autumn. The food was consistently excellent, Arden is an award-winning chef. The company was a mixture of fishermen, tourists and workers from across the country, with a few international travelers as well. All were welcomed, and many were there for a second or third stay, which speaks...

I stayed at this lovely place with my husband in the last week of May/14. I could not have been happier with this place. Arden was the nicest host we had on our 2 weeks trip. She even gave us gloves and hats etc when we were going for our kenai fjords tour!! We would have frozen if she had...

I had an engineering consulting assignment in the area and was very lucky to find this place. Kenai Lake Escape is a full-service lodge with personalized service and menus. If you are fishing the Kenai or just looking for a quiet retreat, this is the best! A home-like atmosphere and good conversation. The owner, Arden Rankins, is a great resource...

My recent stay at Kenai Lake Escape totally blew my expectations I knew Cooper Landing, Alaska was going to be amazing and the trout fishing off the chart. However, my stay at KenaI Lake Escape made the entire trip awesome. Arden (Host/owner) totally created personalize menus of Alaskan fare that everyone in my group loved. Her lodge is filled with...

If you plan to fish the upper or middle Kenai River areas, check to see if Arden Rankins has a vacancy here and if meals are available also during your stay, as she is a great cook. If you prefer to do your own cooking, there is a complete kitchen in the first floor area along with three or four...
