Outstanding trout fishing, fall colors, great food, helpful staff, and comfortable cabins made for a wonderful mid-September trip. This is a very well-run operation that caters to diverse groups but my experience was limited to fishing the Kenai River, which was great, with lots of rainbow trout and Dolly Varden, and also a few coho salmon.

We're so happy you were able to enjoy the beauty of fall in Alaska; this is one of our most favorite times of the year for great trout fishing. Please come back and visit us again! More

We were driving from Homer to Seward and wanted to spend a night on the Kenai River. I had checked this company out while I was researching our trip and had the info with me when we decide to shorten our time in Homer. We were able to get in for the one night we wanted. A perfect cabin by... More

Thank you for staying with us, and we wish your time at the Riverside Lodge was longer. The majority of our guest cabins are reserved for multi-day programs offered through Alaska Wildland Adventures. Although we include breakfast with overnight stays, you are correct that we do not have a traditional restaurant on the property, and our dinner service is reserved... More

Fantastic experience. Room had new beds. Meals had appetizers. Denali Brewery was on tap. People from all over the world! Helpful staff, good gear, wonderful picnics. Guides were the best in the business ---patient and kind to an old gal like me. Helped us catch our limit of rockfish in 1 hour, learned to fly fish, tons of catch/release trout... More

Return visit. Even better than before. Private cabins were nice, food excellent, salmon, rib eyes, halibut, etc. Buffet breakfast, French toast, pancakes, hot and cold cereals. Several different types of fishing, rafting, hiking etc. Picked us up in Anchorage(airport) and we did nothing except have a great time. All details taken care of. We enjoyed our stay at Kenai Riverside Lodge. Staff was nice, location great. We also enjoyed two of their trips (fishing and rafting). Rafting wasn't too spectacular. Food wasn't top notch. Specifically, they never served salmon altough we were in sockeye salmon paradise! Recommendable nevertheless.

Thanks for visiting us. Although our chef staff incorporates salmon into various entrees, we strive to have a diverse menu for our family-style dinners served at the lodge. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your vacation. More

Where to start.... Great staff, great food, great location, great scenery and comfortable cabins. We went for a 2 night stay to fish. Dave was our fishing guide and was excellent. Fishing the Upper Kenai River was an experience. Definitely would do it again.

From start to finish this was the best fishing experience we have ever had. We are avid fisherman and have been fortunate to have fished in many "hot spots" including Arkansas White River, the Snake Rive in Montana, Campbell River in BC, several places in Ontario Canada and Destin and Marathon Key in Florida to name a few. Fishing for... More
