Paradise Cove is located on one of the best sandy beaches on the island of Aitutaki, Cook Islands, with great swimming and snorkeling areas. Paradise Cove is locally owned and operated by the people of Aitutaki. We offer self-catering bungalows right on the beach. Our philosophy is to share our beautiful culture and unique island with visitors from all over the world. We have 10 Beachfront Bungalows right on the beach for singles or double/twin travelers and 2 Garden Suites (just right behind the beachfront bungalows) suitable for families of 4 persons. From the balcony of your private beachfront studio take in the magnificent lagoon scenery. In the evenings relax as the sun sets, giving you the most breathtaking scene in Aitutaki. Experience great hospitality at Paradise Cove with warm and friendly staff that will enhance your stay on the island of Aitutaki. See the whales in all their splendor going past the reef of Paradise Cove Lodges from your balcony during whale season.

We stayed in bungalow #8. Great place, gret location, located right in front of the water. A mere 40 feet away with nothing but sand between our bungalow and the water. The water was warm, clear and made for great swimming. Also, snorkeling could be done with a collection of

Fantastic location, bungalows and staff. Have stayed multiple times while visiting the island and will stay again on my next visit. Recent addition of air conditioning makes it even better value for the money.

The bungalows are quite "cosy" but very functional. The bathroom in ours had recently been upgraded and was excellent. The best thing though is being able to sit on the verandah at the front overlooking the lagoon. This is a very quiet and peaceful property.

Clean beachfront bungalows. Comes with continental breakie. Great location- very peaceful and I was relaxed after only a few hrs here. Not much food options close by other than Puffys so maybe book transport. Awesome part of the island to be on for swimming. They have a weekly Is

Our family stayed here for four nights. We had a garden bungalow which still had water views and was only a few steps off the sand.
The bungalow was painted crisp white with clean modern bathrooms. With a fan and fly screens so we had fresh air and comfortable temperatures.

Getting a bit worried about the recent reviews re cleanliness and dodgy food. Wondering whether to cancel booking or if this is just a one off.
I guess it depends on your expectations. We stayed here twice and loved the quietness and the simplicity of the place. Also having a water hole you can swim in all day is great. Breakfast is pretty basic but typical of budget island food. We did not eat at the cafe on the beach - the menu did not appeal and the hygiene is basic - but there are lots of other places close by (check out the fish and chips next door). Cleanliness was fine - but bear in mind this is a very small island and you are effectively sleeping on the beach - sand is going to get everywhere no matter how hard you try to clean it and this is not aimed at four star hotel type service. The staff are friendly and you can relax easily and switch off to the rush of the rest of the world. This is Aitutaki at its simplest - not a chain resort with international standards to uphold. We would go again quite happily.

Hi, we will be staying with you soon and wonder if there are laundry facilities for guests to use?
There is a laundry but you have to make arrangements with staff to have it done for you at a small charge.

I am staying here in January and cannot wait! I've seen a lot of comments about pricey food on all of the islands, what would someone suggest I pack? Coming via Sydney and was thinking cereal bars to snack on? Thanks
Hi yes food is expensive and also excess freight say from Rarotonga weight allowance 16kg & 1 carry on you may have to pay excess @ $2.50/kg snack bars here are from $4 up. Some prices are cheaper in aitutaki than raro like 700ml water $4 in raro & $2.90 here. beer like Heineken stubbies $4 in NZ & $2.60 here note currency here is NZ$ regards
