We could only stay here one night but having done so we will definitely come back. This place is wonderful. We did not eat here but could not fault our bungalow in any way. But the location is the main thing - on a private island surrounded by fabulous beaches and the beautiful lagoon. Such a friendly welcome from Mark...

We spend two weeks on this resort, overall we love the island, definitely top spot if you are looking for an island escaping experience, highly private and relax place for couples, everyday kayaking and unlimited water activities. Kayaking free to travel all nearby small islands, private islands and beaches, coconuts everywhere! You can enjoy sun bed and sun tanning anytime...

As mentioned in previous e-mails the resorts location is it's main feature and as you mentioned the waters of the lagoon are ideal for many types of water activities. We wanted a low keyed experience after 4 weeks of travel in Australia and New Zealand, and we were not disappointed. This resort is on a small motu a short hop from the main island and the airport is only 5 minutes away. They provide a ferry to get you and your luggage across to the motu, and the owners,...

Kia Orana Robert, Thank you for your comprehensive review of your recent stay at Aitutaki Lagoon Resort & Spa. It was a pleasure to welcome you to the resort and I am sorry your luggage ended up at a different location but as you mentioned it did give you time to view your bungalow before being reunited with your belongings....

This place was wonderful and unique. You are right in the lagoon and can swim and walk in the shallows, and kyake to other islands. They provide reef shoes which are helpful in certain parts but if you go to the tip of the island where the cabanas are, there is lots of beautiful soft sand. It is so shallow...

Kia Orana Jeaneal G, Thank you for your review of your stay at Aitutaki lagoon Resort & Spa. Kuriri Point is the location of the cabanas and it is one of the most beautiful beaches in the lagoon. We are delighted that you enjoyed all the water activities and exploring the lagoon and close by islands is a must. Our...

From the moment we arrived at Aitutaki, we began to relax and unwind! Our bungalow was amazing! Plenty of room and great facilities plus we all loved the enormous outside shower with its privacy! And the water was just metres from our front door! The people were amazing and so friendly! A bit of paradise on earth!

Kia Orana GillDan, Thank you for choosing to stay with us on our "Paradise Island" of Akitua. The resorts stunning beauty is only enhanced by the warmth of some of the South Pacific's most friendliness people - The Cook Islanders. I was a little concerned about some of the earlier reviews on here, but our whole time at Aitutaki Lagoon Resort and Spa was perfect. It started by being greeted at the airport with a floral ei and drinking coconut, and just got better from there. The location is stunning! We stayed in an overwater bungalow which was amazing -...

We only had two nights at the Resort. The little boat that takes you to the motu (island that the resort is on), is cool. The resort is in a fantastic location right on the large lagoon. Our room was on the estuary side, but ask for a room on the lagoon side. The water is so unbelievably blue. We...
