Anyone who gets to Coldfoot must expect something average as it is not anything above 2 star. The rooms are very expensive for what you get but they are so comfortable when the outside temp is zero F (-18 C) or much colder. The rooms are tiny with small single beds and the shower and toilet seem to be an...

We were a pleasant surprise. People are very friendly and pleasant, service is good and cleanliness is satisfactory. We spent very interesting time there and it will remain in our very pleasant memory

This camp is what it is-a business providing service at the near end of a continent. The room is small, clean and functional. The food was good but pricey. They even sell unique souvenirs so you can boast of your travels to one of the less populated places on earth.

My grandson picked his trip and he wanted to go to Alaska in the Winter :) and we did, we flew from Maryland to Anchorage, took the train to Fairbanks, took a 30 Passenger Bus to Arctic Circle and then a van ride to Coldfoot Camp. While the trip was long it was a trip of a lifetime and would...

The rooms are very tiny and the beds way too soft. But it is a good location to stay in the middle of the Dalton Highway on the way to Deadhorse and Prudhoe Bay, there is only a bed and breakfast in Wiseman as alternative. The Restaurant has a breakfast and evening buffet with good food, as well as a...

only single beds, but private bathroom in a small room. sink is outside the shower and toilet room but inside your private bedroom. clean but smelled like cigarettes. no a/c, but screens on the window. old, but relatively clean. muddy outside, so it's hard to keep the floors clean everywhere. friendly people all around. buffet breakfast and dinners are good....

I was there in June 2016 and paid my $230 per night. There really isn't anything to justified that sort of price outside of the fact that its an only place you can sleep and shower between Fairbanks area and Deadhorse area. And it far better then driving back to Fairbanks area if you are in the Coldfoot area around...

I had my first burger at the café in 1986 and just had another in June of '16. It is still the best burger in Alaska! And, if I remember right the price hasn't changed either. All the food is good though so it's a very welcoming place.

If you drive the Dalton Highway you really don't have much choice about stopping for gas, food or lodging whether you are a tourist or trucker. Amazingly, everyone is super nice and friendly. The hotel really isn't too bad. I don't think anyone expects a Marriott 5 star Resort and this is part of the adventure and beauty. There are...

If you want a camp site for your RV with hookups, be persistent. This camp is about midway between Fairbanks and Deadhorse/Prudhoe Bay. Obviously under-trained staff and managed very loosely. My husband went in and asked how to get a camping spot with hookups for the RV and where to pay. The female at the counter told him they did...
