Great people and very nice family. We was planning to stay only 1 day and ending up being for 3 days, we play games with Bob and his father and I won in the poker game and Bob was my partner in the night family game. Very nice view and great pictures. I do recommend to see how is life...

Thanks Ana for the review! It was great seeing Steve again and getting to meet you this time! We enjoyed having you both stay with us for the three nights! Bob is ready to be your poker partner anytime! Jennifer

This place was just great. The hospitality of Claude and family was just over the top. We all felt very, very welcome there and they were happy to show us around. We did not want to leave! Even though it has been a poor winter for snow we found that in their area there was snow everywhere. Wonderful snowmachining. We...

I had a really wonderful stay at Alpine Creek Lodge. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating during our time there. The homemade food was out of this world too! I will definitely visit again as I had a really great experience here.

The lodge is also the home of the Bondy family and we enjoyed our 2 night stay with them. They are friendly folks that welcomed us and showed us how beautifully remote their piece of the world is. We became part of their family for 2 days, meeting some of their friends and being well fed by Chrissy and also...

I feel kind of embarrassed writing this review since the staff of that lodge was kind and I don’t want to hurt their feelings. The reason that challenged me to write this review is the 40 “5 stars” reviews that led me to stay at this place. This is not a place you want to stop and stay for a...

We are sorry your stay didn't meet your standards. We strive to make sure all of our guests are comfortable. It is disappointing that you assumed we had "Highway Workers" do the reviews. They were an archeological staff doing work out here. No reviews on here were posted by them, and it was a rare occurrence for us to have...

My husband and I stayed with Jennifer, Claude, and Bob for 4 nights at the end of July, and loved it. We could not have imagined a more homey and friendly atmosphere. Jennifer, Claude, Bob, Chrissie and Mark did everything they could to make our stay a real success. The lodge is located about 2 hours from Denali National Park,...

This is one of these unassuming places that is just special. Jennifer, Claude, Bob and extended family are just great hosts, the kind of people you feel like you've known forever from the first time you meet. The Lodge is very nice...homey rather than fancy. We stayed upstairs in the two suites. Actually only booked one but they knew we...

The Alpine Creek lodge is in a beautiful setting. The staff were kind and the food was decent, but the accommodations were terrible. We stayed in the Trapper cabin which was separate from the main lodge. The main lodge rooms looked like a much better option. Our cabin had all the windows sealed shut and there was so much dust...

I stayed two nights at the Alpine Creek Lodge in July, 2013. This is a cozy, friendly hide-a-way roughly halfway between Cantwell and Paxson AK on the Denali Highway. Claude, Jennifer and Bob are a great owner family and do a superb job of making you feel right at home. Chrissy is an excellent cook, and the meals are hearty...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We are a wilderness lodge in remote Alaska. We are open year round, every day. Alpine Creek Lodge is on the Denali Highway, so travelers can get there in the summer via a gravel road. 68 miles West of Paxson Alaska, and 67 miles East of Cantwell, Alaska. In the summer, we offer hiking tours, photography tours, wildlife viewing tours, gold panning tours, fishing tours and much more! Fully guided, or you can do it yourself! In the winter, the road is not plowed from October 15th to May 15th. During this period, snow machine, dog mushing, skiing, etc are the only way to get to us. Drop off and pick up are available in Cantwell, Alaska via snow machine or tracked vehicle. We are on the South side of the Alaska Range, in the Clearwater Mountains, and this is where you will find real Alaska! Jennifer Bondy ... more   less
