i stayed here for one night last month. it's not too exciting from the outside, but once you go in it's lovely. there is a welcoming living room/lounge, very comfortable surroundings and ralph was really helpful. i walked to the national museum of art, and to a great market within 15 minutes. the rooms are very pretty, and there's a...

Stayed at Casa 69 for a week in February/March. A very nice place. with a wonderful staff. I had a great room just across the street from the main hotel. A free breakfast every morning with wonderful conversations with guests. Easy and short walk to downtown museums and tourist attractions. I give an A+ to Donna and her staff. I...

Staying at Casa 69 is like visiting friends. Everything was perfect and the price can't be beat! The rooms are spotless and nicely appointed, the service is engaging and friendly, and the location is very convenient - easy walking distance to tourist attractions downtown. I stayed at Casa 69 at the beginning and end of my trip to Costa Rica, and I am happy I did. The accommodations are clean and pleasant and the staff and owner engaging and very helpful. They gave me good advice on travel plans and lined up accommodation elsewhere at rates I could never have found on my own....

The owner and the Staff of Casa 69 are very friendly! They helped us to organise a Taxi and to give back our Rental Car. The rooms are clean and have very nice furniture. Breakfast is tasty and fresh! Casa 69 is also located very close to Downtown (10 minutes to walk...) There is nothing more a traveller would need...

My fiance and I were doing some traveling around Costa Rica so we really weren't looking for somewhere to stay for more than one night. A local shop recommended casa 69 as a great little spot to check out, so we did. It was great. We loved it so much that we decide to stay for a couple of days...

The place was a little tricky to find - even with GPS and Google maps (which is not very helpful in much of Costa rica!); and it didn't help arriving in the dark. Once there though the space is really quaint and well put together. The room was very small but clean. the art on room 6's walls not quite...

Thank you for your review. It is nice to hear from guests who have enjoyed their stay. My wife Donna and I purchased the Hotel a year ago and have been changing and updating some of the decor since then. The art in room #6 was some of the original artwork that came with the Hotel. The color in the...

The rooms are clean and lovely, and the property is well-appointed throughout. The common areas, including the roof deck, are nice. Continental breakfast is fine (fruit, coffee, bread) and cooked food is available at a modest extra cost. Staff is pleasant and helpful. The only negative is the street noise from the neighboring pubs, which is a factor on the...

The owner and staff were very friendly, the place was super clean, and there is an amazing Italian restaurant just around the corner. Definitely a good find for one night....

Thank you for your review and the many positive comments. The Embassy of Nicaragua is on the corner of our street and is a well known landmark. Once on our street we are 2/3rds of the way down on the right hand side. There is a blue door and gate along a yellow wall at the front of our Hotel....

Tucked away on a tiny little street in San Jose, Casa 69 is the most lovely and inviting inn with clean and delightfully decorated rooms, a comfortable and beautifully decorated living area including TV, computer, phones, even a rooftop terrace.
