Very cool hostel, super private room with bathroom, couch and tv! Lots of things to do in the hostel (games, musical instruments, pool table). Just a little far from the principals buses terminal but that's it! Very quiet area too!

Stayed at this hostel for only one night, but it was one of the best hostels I've stayed at in Costa Rica. Very friendly staff, super cosy and big common area and a well functioning kitchen. It's very social, easy to meet people and the hostel has a relaxed hippie-vibe which is very charming. Dorms are simple, but nice and...

Not a party hostel, but has a decent social scene and a good mix of interesting guests. Great little front patio. As it gets later at night, they close the doors between the various common areas, hide the TV remotes so people don't turn it on and make noise, and allow people to congregate in the room closest to the...

Perfect spot for anyone to stay in San Jose. Clean, friendly and a great vibe. Would highly recommend a night or two here en route in and out of the country although wouldn't stay in San Jose for too long.

I stayed at the Hostel Bekuo for most of a week while I was In San Jose last month. It was great. Spacious, clean, relaxed. Things you might not notice if you haven't stayed somewhere without them: plenty of bathrooms for plenty of guests; windows in every room; a shelf of table for pretty much any bunk in the dorms,...

Definitely the best hostel I've stayed at and also incredibly cheap. Very easygoing and helpful staff, lots of common area, a great kitchen, computers, television, pool table and an entire music room. The place is superb

Fantastic hostel with lovely homely feel. Great common areas to chill out, watch TV or play pool. It's what a good hostel should be. Brian is a fantastic host who is super knowledgeable and goes out of his way to help you out and make sure you feel like you're at home. There are also plenty of recommendations on evening...

Hostel Bekuo is a great combination of other hostels in the area. A great balance of a clean environment and family community. A welcoming and informed staff introduce you to the amenities around the hostel. There are three common areas which are great for hanging out and relaxing, which are filled with beautiful displays of art and decoration. Something many...

They have 3 very comfy communal rooms where you can easily socialize, plus a garden in the back with a playful rabbit called Tranki. The service was really good, above all the night shift guy was super cool with everybody and very active helping guests, I even saw him teaching Spanish to a guest for a while.

Hahaha!!! Always the bunny Tranquis. Of course the communal areas set off a relaxing vibe with the art, guitars, keyboards, and well, with the people that Bekuo attracts. Thank you so much for your review, and especially thanks for pointing out the service of the staff...and the night guy. I've seen him helping people as well. All the Best, Brian
