My two children (16 and 12) and I stayed here on our first night in Costa Rica, before heading to Arenal to explore. We arrived at night in a tropical rain shower, but had no problem at all finding the hotel. The instructions to find the place issued by the hotel are excellent and it is very handy from the...

My family and I (wife and 11 year old son) stayed here on the second five days of a 10 day vacation to Costa Rica. It was a great location to drive into the city or the countryside for tours and day trips. The entrance ramp to their parking lot is hard to see making finding the place a little...

We don't keep a lot of cash around. Nearly everyone pays with dollars or wants to exchange dollars for colones so it is always a challenge to have enough colones on hand. There is an ATM a few blocks away at the Fresh Market, and several banks at the Mall Cariari within walking distance. As a favour, if we can,...

Our first trip to Costa Rica and Adventure Inn made us feel so comfortable and welcome. Making reservations on line was easy and Eric even sent us an email reminder of our upcoming trip. We exited San Jose Airport and immediately saw a man holding a sign with our name on it. Front desk and restaurant staff were all friendly...

Just returned from a Costa Rica Family trip. Nothing but praises for the Adventure Inn. Eric, the owner, is a wealth of knowledge both before we ever left the US and upon arrival. Our flight was changed and Eric made sure to get me notification of how to get to his hotel via taxi from the airport and then he...

We used Adventure Inn as our home base for a family trip to C.R. The service was excellent. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. They arranged a one-day excursion for us. They also gave us great advice about exploring the city by bus on our own. The place was neat and clean. The AC worked great....

The Adventure Inn was a wonderful way point for our entry into and exit from Costa Rica. I visited with my mother, mother in law, and sister in law and we felt welcome, safe, and very comfortable in the cheerful inn. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, we were allowed to check in early, had free shuttles to and...

Definitely a good stopping or starting point for a CR trip with good proximity to airport and rental cars ... Europcar happily dropped me back at the hotel after I returned our the car. Wake-up call, packed breakfast/lunch and taxi were all as expected for our 6:15am flight. The interior decor has plenty of character, the pool/hot tub are clean,...

We very much enjoyed our stay at Adventure Inn. Attractive hotel and grounds and friendly staff. Very tasty dinner and free breakfast. Free wifi in room was nice. Large room with two large comfy beds. Good AC. Good shower. Would have liked more counter-space in the bathroom. Old-style TV (not flat-screen)--but who cares?! Pleasantly surprised that the cab to the...

We've just stayed at the Adventure Inn and really enjoyed our stay. Firstly the room was very large. We had 3 large beds in a big room with flat screen tv, coffee maker etc etc. We didn't try all the facilities but saw a great gym and pool. Just wished we had more time there. We were met at the...
