If you want a hotel close to the airport (about 15 minutes 5km a bit longer to go back to airport in the morning) but quiet and pleasant try Hotel Aeropuerto . But if downtown is for you I would e-mail Hotel Tomas direct and ask about transport times because they will know and their English is very good.
