This place has the potential to be a 5 start, expensive hotel, the service is amazing, food was out of this world, the view is may be the best in town. Sadly the infrastructure y completely unattended. its dirty, rooms with great view have broken windows and of 10 light, 4 are burned out, and some have been changed to...

I was a guest for a wedding here, the wedding was great, but the place was bad, horrible parking, horrible driveway to the door, really small place. For a place that is all about the view, this restaurant only has one tinny door to the terrace, we have to take turns with the service to walkout.

This place must have been amazing in the 1950s. It has great outdoor space and views but the rooms are a little dodgy. If you have been spending time in hostels I think it is a great selection however if you have expectations greater than hostel quality I would look elsewhere. Breakfast was included then it was not, upcharge for...

We have stayed here numerous times as husband/wife only, as a family, and with a group of high school students/college students. The view is absolutely stunning. It's my numero uno choice for a first or last night when flying to/from SJO. And it's a quick trip to the airport if you can avoid Escazu traffic! The rooms are individually "decorated"...

The views from this hotel are phenominal. It sits nearly at the top of Pico Blanco. However, when I made my reservation, I told them I needed a room on the first floor due to a handicap problem I have. When I checked in, I reconfirmed this and they said I only had to walk up one stair. Well, the...

I stayed here for one night, but it was one extremely memorable night in the clouds. Located at a high elevation you can see the whole valley. While I knew I was staying in Costa Rica, the hotel felt like a villa in Southern Europe. It was peaceful and very relaxed. My room had a great view, with both a...

We've been to Costa Rica several times and we always return to Pico Blanco to begin and end our trip. We have become friends with the owners and enjoy the personal, professional service we receive. Getting there is an exciting adventure in itself. One really gets to see the workings of the country. The rooms are clean, spacious and "what...
