The property was clean, the staff was helpful and although the location is not directly in town, it is less than an hour away from all the places we went during out stay. Manuel Antonio - 15 minutes Quepos - 10 minutes Uvita - 45 minutes Playa Herradura - 55 minutes Jaco - 50 minutes Rainmaker - 10 minutes I...

Transportation from San Jose Airport expensive and difficult to arrange for a first-timer. Very nice and well equipped room. Beautiful, well kept grounds. Rather remote location with limited local food options; needed transportation off grounds even to grocery shop. Excursions arranged by staff were great!

When we checked in to the hotel there were what we thought were spiders all over our room. Luckily for us once we talked to the helpful people at the front desk we were informed they were baby crabs and not spiders, huge relief! While having baby crabs all over your room isn't the best, it certainly beats having spiders...

I have just returned from a week at Pueblo Real. I had an awesome time. It is located about 10 minutes out of Quepos, down a dirt road (seemingly typical of any secondary road in Costa Rica). From the outside it looks like a motel in a lush tropical setting. The staff at reception are great. They speak English well....

We just returned from a wonderful week at Pueblo Real. Once you get to the end of the dirt road, there is a beautiful well landscaped area in the midst of the rain forest. Brilliant color from tropical flowers and plants, hot sun shining down on the swimming pool which is close to all the apartments. All the staff were...

The hotel is situated on Islas Damas a few kilometers from Quepos. We stayed in a two bedroomed unit which was a good size, kitchen was well equipped. The hotel is older and units are a little dated. There is a restaurant that serves breakfast . Pool is large and clean but is shallow and the water was actually hot...

What an enjoyable stay! This resort is about 10 minutes outside of Quepos on Isla Damas. Its about 2km down a reasonably flat gravel road off the main highway, making it a very peaceful and quiet location. Upon arrival, the desk staff were wonderfully kind and helpful, and spoke English well. We were in a ground floor 2 bedroom unit...

The condos were nice, clean and comfortable but the location was really out of the way. 2 km in on a dirt road. The wi-fi worked intermittently. The pool was operational but we got inconsistent water pressure in our showers. We attended the orientation and got mixed quality of information. For example, class 3 white-water rapids do not exist during...

We had a timeshare exchange through Diamond Resorts. Our past experience has been that Diamond Resorts are excellent. Not so this time...At check-in, we were offered a two bedroom unit. Maybe we should have declined. Our unit, #109, was shabby, definitely in need of an upgrade. That would have been tolerable, if there hadn't been other issues. First, there was...

We very sceptical about this place as we arrived as you approach it down a long unmade road. What a lovely place though with friendly and helpful staff. Not the poshest place in the world but wallpaper is no good without plaster to my mind and this place I felt relaxed and at home in. Plenty of trips to choose...
