This place is ok. It is the cheapest place around so that's a plus. Mattress' are very old and the dorm room wasn't that clean. 1 bathroom for 10 people which didn't smell great in the morning. Free breakfast = bag of pancake mix to make your own pancakes, not very healthy or worth eating in my opinion. It has...

I stayed at this hostel for 5 nights and just payed 4 thanks to their offer. I don't know about the private rooms but the dorm room was light, nice and clean. They had lots of space to sit and hang out and the people working there were so nice and helpful. For 8 Dollars per night you get: free...

I am from Barrio Escobal of San Jose. We decided last minute to go to Manuel Antonio to rage with some friends there. We were to meet up at Pura Vida Hostel in Manuel Antonio. We arrived late evening to a warm welcome from a female with an Australian accent (sexy right?), who informed us our friends were tired of...

First when I hit the hostel they have different prices from the ones shown in the website. Its close to quepos but not that much to Manuel Antonio. The beds are kind of dirty. I stayed in a private room for a week and they never clean the room also during that time I didn't have the breakfast. The place...

He was extremely accommodating and was more than happy to help me find things to do, places to eat, ect. It's easily walking distance to...

We stayed in this hostel for four nights, and Leanne is literally the best hostel girl I've met! (On my 5-month trip) For example, we were chilling on the couch and I asked her what the best restaurant around was, and she got up, went inside and got back with a paper and pencil and drew me a map of...

We stopped in Manuel Antonio for only one night and we ended up there for 6 days! There was so much to do and the staff were so amazingly helpful and friendly - it felt like home. The Australian girl could not do enough for us.. She was so friendly and helped us discover the real Quepos and Manuel Antonio......

The hostel itself is nice, clean and cheap which is all you need. There are a lot better hostels actually in manuel Antonio which is where there is a lot more going on. Quesop its self hasn't got a lot going on you could see and explore in less than a couple of hours. Another reason not to stay is...

Hi Mark, I'm Andres Hostel owner. I am very surprised with your comment. I have 2 women in my hostel in reception, these two women are incredibly great, always with a smile on their face, kindly helping each person in my hostel. I do not know the reason for your comment, really very surprised, because I'm pretty sure none of...
