My friends and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, on our way to Monteverde and a couple of nights later on our way back. We were really impressed with the hotel when we arrived and thought it looked lovely and was good value considering it had a pool and spacious and clean air conditioned rooms. We left really...

At the end of the peninsula, close to Ferry . Short walk to end of peninsula where you can see a beautiful sunset over the mountains on the mountains where the ferry goes . Sweet pool where kids and adults play on hot days (and it can get very hot here). Small clean rooms with showers. Restaurants nearby. Try a Churchill...

Very nice hotel right beside the Puntarenas ferry and the beach. Lots of closeby restaurants and bars to try out. Nice pool and very welcoming staff. Great place to stay the night. Rooms with AC are available

Small, bare but cleans room at the end of town a block from the ferry terminal. Friendly staff at the front desk. Had a small but nice pool as well. We stayed here out of necessity on our way back to San Jose from Nicoya, was great for our needs.

This was a practical stop on our way to Samara, we just drove by and decided to stop. A very good choice. Very nice rooms, within a walking distance to the beach. A family place. We enjoyed it. The person at the front desk (owner) was very helpful for directions. The best place to stop if you plan to take...

Two nights in this hotel at the end of Jan., 2016. Is fairly ascetic (there is even a copy of the Bible to be found in the accommodation), *but*, you can tell that Canadians own the property, as there is ample and consistently pressured water available, which is "huge" for Costa Rica, *and*, try to find another decent hotel in...

We arrived late night and just walked in and Diego at the front desk helped us and got room because was late for the ferry on our way to Santa Teresa. When we were getting back to San Jose to catch my flight the whole port was all booked, was late for the bus and again Diego helped us and...

As I mentioned this hotel is very close to the beach, ferry terminal and the cruise port. However it is right on the street which makes it very noisy. The rooms are spacious but the beds are very uncomfortable. The WiFi is good so is the staff very helpful! There's a small pool and they also provide free coffee in...

Our room was dreadful, with a sink that was falling apart, a terrace door that wouldn't open, and loud trucks driving by our room very early in the morning. But if you're taking the ferry to Paquera, this hotel is just a few feet away from the ferry dock. The pool area did look pleasant, though we didn't use it,...
