We stayed in March, before and after our trek in Corcovada, which the hotel will accomodate without charging for your trekking days. We found the staff more than helpful, going out of their way to help us organise our onward journey and they cheerfully upgraded us to better rooms free of charge as they were vacant at the time, which...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

We enjoyed 3 nights in two different waterfront cabins (#15 and #2) while exploring the area and Corcovado. Puerto Jimenez is a good, affordable base for exploring the region. The uniquely built and spacious private waterfront terraces were the real highlight here which we made good use of. Just sitting out quietly at different times of day (especially in Cabina...

We loved this 4 night stay and we plan to visit it next year. The grounds are fun with plants and cement figurines, the pool is clean and serves as a gathering place for the travellers. In the evening there is a large tree behind the pool area where many green parrots gather. It was a treat so see all...

Thank you for your " Wonderful staff and fun Rooms " review. It is greatly appreciated by all of us. We do our best to make everyone feel comfortable and welcomed. Those green parrots are the Red Lored Parrots that are one of the many different types of birds that live in the Osa Peninsula. There are over 900 species...

Just returned from one week here with my son for March Break. First time to Costa Rica, not quite sure what to expect. It was fantastic! Room was highly functional with brand new appliances, free coffee, excellent water, and even a blender for the best smoothies of my life. I have had a lot of smoothies in my life. Free...

It is the best hotel in that area. The staff is really friendly, they help with everything and give good advice. The location of the hotel is very good and just on the beach. Close to the restaurants and the airport. I really recommend!

We stayed here in early February. Had a lot of fun riding the beach cruisers into town and kayaking every day. We had a poolside room which although small had the good fortune of being away from the disco noise others have mentioned. We enjoyed figuring out how to manage with one hanger each, one small shelf for each suitcase....

We spent 1 week at Cabinas Jimenez and I was totally happy with our amenities and especially the staff. This place is a diamond in the rough. I believe most rooms (if not all) offer a small kitchenette (2-3 gas burner stove, microwave, and small refrigerator) for cooking easy meals. But you are also in walking distance of a few...

My friend and I stayed there for 3 long sleepless nights. Let's start with the few assets this place has : Lea, one of the staff which is very nice and the view on the bay from the cabinas. The bikes we can borrow from the hotel are nice as well. Besides that, nothing great. We had absolutely no hot...

We were troubled by your bad experience that you had. In regards to your review, the lock for your patio window and the screen was fixed / repaired the next day. And also the Hot water. We do our best to keep the swimming pool, crystal clear, everyday. The Music... yes, sometimes the music can be loud on a Saturday...
