I stayed at Cabinas Tropicales because it was recommended by Lonely Planet, and I am so glad I did. The rooms are clean, comfortable, air conditioned and have good WiFi connection and hot showers. The place looks brand new. It's definitely a great value. Plus there is an open area kitchen with everything you need to fix your own meals... More

Stayed for two nights here and it was amazing. The kitchen is nice and clean and the room was spacious, renovated, and very clean. The owner, Marcus, was awesome. He was so nice and very helpful. If you are traveling through this town I wouldn't suggest anywhere else to stay but here!

Our stay in Cabinas Tropicales was a last minute decision, but it turned out to be the highlight of our entire backpacking trip to Costa Rica! Marcus, the owner, was so welcoming and an amazing host! It was like staying in the garden of Eden. Marcus fed us fresh coconut and papaya right out of his front yard! Tons of... More

We enjoyed our three nights at Cabinas Tropicales. The room was spacious and clean, and the owner was friendly and helpful. He helped arrange a guide for us. We appreciated the laid back atmosphere as well. It was also close to restaurants and services.

We stayed here with a group of 14 guys. Great time and we were recommended to one of the best jungle tours. Great facilities as well. Would definitely recommend this to anyone traveling into Gulfes Dulce.

This is a really good place! Rooms are set next to a nice, small garden. Owner Mark built the place himself and he did an awesome job on the communal area. With wooden tables it kinda makes like an openair living room/kitchen. Kitchen is well-equiped. Rooms aren't big, but not too small. There's aircon and you need it. Wifi speed... More

This is a very quiet and pleasant place to stay before and after your trip to Corcovado. Mark is very friendly and helpful ( he is a fisherman guide also ) The bedroom are basic, comfortable, clean and have airco and the outside living space is very nice. Very good for value.

We stayed at Cabinas Tropicales for three nights and it was one of the best accommodations we had during our stay in Costa Rica. Our room was very comfortable and very clean. Besides the private room(s) there is a common garden (outdoor) area where all the guests are able to cook, to relax, to plan any trips or to get... More

We stayed at the Cabinas Tropicales for 2 nights when visiting the Corcovado National Park during our 3 week trip through Costa Rica. We stayed in a lot of hotels ranging from roughly 20 to 200 USD per night during our time there, but this one was by far the best value for money option. The rooms are nice, the... More
