This secluded getaway is jungle sheik! I love the local hardwoods that were used in building the spacious and sophisticated rooms. The property has been brilliantly landscaped and is so comfortable. The spacious yoga studio looks out onto the gardens and the ocean; what an incredible place to meditate and practice yoga! In addition, there are many places throughout the...

I walked onto the grounds of Blue Osa feeling overworked, overwhelmed, exhausted, and a heavy deep sadness at my heart as I had recently lost my father. Something transported me to a blissful state more quickly then I could ever imagine. Maybe it was the smell of the ylang-ylang flowers, or the sound of the waves that helped carry away...

This was my first of what I hope is many visits to Blue Osa. The energy of the property and staff is amazing. Calm yet vibrant; serene yet energetic. It was the perfect mix. The food was incredible. Crafted and cooked with love, it was hearty yet light and there was enough at each meal for all eaters (vegetarian, vegan,...

Blue Osa is the most lush and sensual place I've ever been. Love powers this place, and anyone who comes here can't help but feel that love, connect with their true self, and be transformed by the experience. There is such great care taken in every detail to create a culture and environment that allows guests to feel held--by the...

The grounds are well maintained and the guest accommodations are comfortable. The food? Oh, the food is excellent and nourishing. Get up early...

I was very fortunate to have attended Yoga Teacher Training at Blue Osa in October/November 2016. Every day we went through different parts of the philosophy, history, timelines, story-telling and people that contributed and contribute to the school of Hatha Yoga. We studied poses, pranayama, bandhas, our role as yoga instructors, basic anatomy, chakras, we learn beautiful sanskrit during our...

I have been to Blue Osa 6 times in the past 7 years for a yoga retreat. It is a feast for the senses. Warm, green, lush with the sound of waves calling from the steps away gulf. The food is sensational, healthy and locally sourced. Blue Osa keeps getting better and better.

An extremely relaxing and renewing experience of calm serenity and extraordinary beauty with great food and great ambience. This is a place to come back to again and again. My favorites include the quiet time before 7:30, ridiculously delicious food, and the beautiful Indian art and interior design.

“Room 8,9,10 and 11 are close to the road. The room 8 is closest to the generator.”

“All of the rooms are beautiful and clean, have plenty of light, fans, hot water, and are spacious. the beds are very comfortable as well. This is an ecco resort; they walk their talk and expect you to do the same. Conserve water and electricity. No blow dryers, as they are off the grid and make their own electricity. The water in Costa Rica comes from deep springs, so you can drink from the faucet. What a treat to be living in harmony with Nature!”
