I found myself at Blue Osa yoga retreat more by chance than design. I had just left wonderful friends and great surfing at Nosara and had no idea what a New year retreat may entail, I wasn't looking for redemption! Instead I found the most profound zest for life. A beautiful garden of Eden set in the middle of primeval...

The week we spent at Blue Osa during our honeymoon was absolutely magical. No review can possibly capture the experience we had there and the effect it had on us. Hands down, this was the perfect choice for a stay on the Osa Peninsula. It is located on a paradisiacal slice of beach front jungle just far enough from Puerto...

Wow- I've been home less than a week, and already I'm ready to go back! As a yoga teacher, I have led two retreats to Blue Osa, and am currently planning a third. Blue Osa is steps away from the ocean, where the water feels like a luxurious bath. The beach feels private- you can walk as far as you...

The spa itself is immaculate and beautiful. I was there on a yoga retreat with sixteen high school girls aged fifteen to seventeen, three teachers and two other adults. We did yoga in the most beautiful yoga room I've ever seen, swam in the warm gulf and a lovely blue tiled pool, and ate delicious farm to table meals. The...

Blue Osa Review Upon arriving blue osa I immediately felt a calm come over me. I had been traveling and getting used to the climate for days and I finally felt like I was home. Home for the next 30 days where I was at the complete surrender to this new environment, and boy was it ever beautiful. Jorge was...

This was my second trip to Blue Osa. I needed nothing but to be fed, rest, no duties and smiling every day from owners and fabulous staff. As I was recovering from new knee replacement surgery I did not take part in the yoga classes but was impressed by all that were in heaven after their workouts. Book early as...

Blue Osa is the gem of the jungle. I just returned from a three week stay after being away for three years. I did not believe it could be more beautiful, have better food or a friendlier, more hospitable staff. I was wrong! I cannot imagine staying anywhere else.

“Room 8,9,10 and 11 are close to the road. The room 8 is closest to the generator.”

“All of the rooms are beautiful and clean, have plenty of light, fans, hot water, and are spacious. the beds are very comfortable as well. This is an ecco resort; they walk their talk and expect you to do the same. Conserve water and electricity. No blow dryers, as they are off the grid and make their own electricity. The water in Costa Rica comes from deep springs, so you can drink from the faucet. What a treat to be living in harmony with Nature!”
