The management is too kind. They're open to offer you a better room if there is Available of empty one. However, there was some details that could be better. First at all, the water in the shower was dirty in our first day, even you could see dust and mud in the shower floor and during the second day... it...

I stayed here 3 times between March and May 2015. They now give me the same cabin every time since I am a frequent customer. It is still quiet, clean and cool. Has large bathroom with a shower larger than some of the rooms I've had in Nicaragua. They no longer have TV's in the room (a plus for me)....

staying at the excellent Islas Lodge you can explore the beauties of Osa peninsula, to the south to mMatapalo y Carate, to the north to Drake's Bay, all great beaches, lonely, clear blue water and at the end reserves with abundant wildlife. And coming back you can very comfortably rest, on the porch, in the hamock or at thePool (bit...

We staid there for 4 days, before leaving to Corcovado. We found a very nice place to be, a good size cabins, very clean, good beds, the breakfast was generous and good. The staff made the difference, they took so much cares of us, helped us to find our ways, given informations on choosing restaurants, things to do, and see....

We were only here for one night. We had a little cabin which had a very big room. The bathroom only had a screen, no window so it couldn't be air conditioned. The location was good for our kayak adventure and they stored our extra luggage while we went to Corcovado National Park in Carate. The breakfast was good. The...

We stayed in Las Islas and highly recommend it.The grounds are beautiful, rooms are big and spacious and the staff are amazing people. We left our celphone and Maria Fernanda took it to the airport and sent it to us to San Jose-so it waited for us when we got there. Also, there is a small pool to relax in...

I have been traveling for fishing vacations to Puerto Jimenez for 12 years. Las Islas is far and away my favorite destination. Unique cabinas that are comfortable, and clean; knowledgeable and friendly staff, and Oscar the proprietor and Maestro fishing captain are beyond compare. Wake up to the sounds of howler monkeys in the morning, grab a quick breakfast and...

We stayed here in low season so we were basically alone in the lodge. The rooms were great, big, and had a fan and airco. All of them have seats and a hammock on the terrace. The rooms at the back (starting at number 7) are a lot more peaceful. The rooms have a refrigerator and you can borrow cutlery...

Prior our trip to Costa Rica we had excellent communication from the Maria Fernanda who provided information on trips and helped with transport to the lodge from PJ airport. The lodge is a very nice and lies on the outskirts of Puerto Jimenez. Probably too far to walk comfortably in the heat of the day unless young and fit. As...
