Our visit to Las Islsa was after 2 weeks visiting the San Jose region and the Osa Peninsula. We needed one night before our flight home to the US. Las Islas was the perfect spot. Air cinditioned with a pool, nice large clean rooms with a huge shower was PERFECT!! It was almost within walking distance to Jimenez...just a very...

I came here with my family to do some fishing and see some wildlife. I was not disappointed on either front. The owner of the lodge is a serious fisherman and was able to cater to my specific needs. The rooms were comfortable and there is actually a lot of wildlife right there on the grounds. I would love to...

Spent a couple of nights here. Helen spoke excellent English and helped out with booking trips, and getting some laundry done. Pool is very nice , breakfast was good air conditioning good , room size large and everything was clean. It is situated at mile outside puerto jimenez so it is quiet at night, though maybe noisier at peak season.

If you are in Puerto Jimenez, this is the place for you. Helen (who speaks great English) helped us book all the attractions. They only work with licensed professionals and I liked that a lot. The rooms are nice and clean. I thought it would be a problem for me that the rooms are on the ground, because of bugs...

Lovely hotel and rooms very spacious. Beds comfortable and rooms very clean. Quiet place. Pool really nice and lots of wildlife surrounding you. Birds galore! No food available as renovating but still nice place to stay.

We got to Puerto Jimenez because we thought that we could visit Corcovado. To our surprise we found that it was too far. Helen at reception (whose English is great) immediately set recommended another place and suggested a tour guide. It was the high point of our trip to Costa Rica. The property is great, the room was big and...

Went for work; quick one night stay. Osa is HOT. Nice A/C here. Not luxurious, but clean. Hot water good. Bathroom large but basic. Wifi worked. Can't take any of this for granted in CR! Staff were nice enough - let us check in early - so rounding up for all those pluses. Bed was OK - no mattress cover,...

This is a nice friendly place. Breakfasts are good and the staff really helpful and friendly. They have a pond at the back of the site with a resident small crocodile. The Howler monkeys can be heard in the background and if you look very carefully there are tree frogs and some really interesting insects and butterflies. Very tropical !...

My friend and I stayed at Lad Islas Lodge at Puerto Jimenez last week, for 3 nights. Very soon we have concluded that this place is 'above and beyond' of all our expectations: The place is beautiful -surrounded with the jungle trees, flowers and animals; The cabins are big, super clean, with a private balcony with a hammock, and most...

We've had some difficulties finding good accommodation on this trip, then we stumbled into this place. Bungalows are nice & clean. The grounds are nice as is the pool. And it's quiet! But it's the people that make it shine! Maria, Elena, Nena, and Johnny(there are more whose names I don't know yet) go way out of their way to...
