My family & I are taking a two & a half week tour around Costa Rica and for me Casa Corcovado has been the highlight by far. The journey to the resort started with a boat ride from the river into the Pacific Ocean where we saw a family of Spotted Dolphins & Humpback Whales, just wonderful. The beautiful bungalows...

It is always exciting to see the whales, it doesn't matter how many times you have seen them. When you snorkel on Cano Island you can sometimes hear them when you are underwater, just like they sound on the Nature films. It is a nice compliment that after two & a half weeks in such a beautiful country as Costa...

The lodge uses solar panells to create electricity, so the staff asks you to not use hairdriers because it consumes to much power. The toiletts, like most of the hotels in Costa Rica, is a compost toilet, so all the paper has to go in the bin. The rooms are pretty good, they give you amenities.

I am sorry that we have to ask our clients to not use hairdryers, they do use an incredible amount of electricity. You can put paper into the toilets but it is good to try and not put all of the paper into them. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay with us. All the best. Steven Lill owner/founder

Best vacation ever, the adventure started with the small plane landing in a field, then flat bottomed boat down the coast eventually reaching paradise! We had a party of 8 and had the time of our life. the staff and guides were extremely educated in the animals and fauna of the jungle. they were excited to share with us. Make...

If I condensed this review it could read ''Best vacation ever in paradise, we had the time of our lifes.'' I admit I think that could be a little too much, but it was fun. Glad you had a great time, hope to see you soon. Steven Lill owner/founder

We spent 3 nights at Casa Corcovado and were extremely pleased. The food was OUTSTANDING, the grounds very beautiful and the staff very friendly and helpful. We hiked through the adjoining Corovado National Park and also enjoyed a trip to Cano Island. Enroute to our lunch back at the beach, we encountered several dolphins completely jumping out of the water....

I'm going to make a copy of this review for Jacob and Maria Jesus, our two head cooks. I think they will love to see, ''the food was OUTSTANDING''. I know they will love the capitol letters. I kind of got a thrill out of it myself. Thanks for the nice comments, ''Fantastic hosts and adventures'' was a catchy phrase,...

My sister and I included Casa Corcovado Jungle Lodge in our 2 week sisters vacay to Costa Rica. This place was spectacular!!! We hiked in the daytime and at night. We saw the elusive giant anteater, and while we didn't see the elusive tapir, OMG this place is the real deal. The staff was awesome. Everyone was so friendly. It...

Thank you for your great comments! It is always nice when you know that someone ''gets it'', understands what we try to deliver at Casa Corcovado. I loved the phrase ''the real deal''. When you stay with us you really are out in the middle of the Jungle, surrounded by virgin Rainforest and all of its creatures. Hope you can...

The journey to Corcovado is part of what makes it so special. A short 45 minute flight on a light aircraft followed by a quick road transfer where we went on a 2 hour spectacular boat journey first on the canal with its amazing wildlife and mangroves and then onto the open ocean which was a bit rough for some....

This place cost a pretty penny but it is worth it. It is a very unique place, I has around 15 units all spread out, it is a bit hard to describe as it is not setup quite like any other place I have been. It is out in the middle of nowhere (only accessible by boat) next to the...

Thanks to this client for the nice comments. I do admit it does get a little hot here in the Jungle at times and it is great to hang out at the pool. It is a great idea to take a shower before getting in bed. I enjoyed the comment that the Hotel is not setup like any other place...

Arrival is by boat (with a wet landing) to this hideaway on the Pacific coast. Accommodation is in individual luxurious bungalows set around a clearing in the rain forest on a hill overlooking the ocean. Excellent guides take you around the forest or diving off Cano Island to see a huge variety of sea life, birds insects and animals (Sloths,...

The adventure begins with a flight from SJO to Palmar Sur, 45 minutes, then land transfer to the dock in Sierpe for 20 minutes and a boat transfer through the mangroves of Sierpe River, an amazing experience with stunning views of the mangroves flora and fauna, then traversing the sea, 2 hours approximately to arrive to Casa Corcovado which has...

Someone once said that fences make the best neighbors but in our case with Corcovado National Park as a neighbor I'm glad there are no fences. We are very luckly to have the national park as a neighbor though I'm not sure our gardener agrees. The Tapirs have been munching on our garden plants quite a bit lately. It seems...

Great location and faboulos Tours to corcovado and cana island with excellent guides. Food is a real shame, worst quality of whole trip e.g. Burnt breakfast eggs, super dry and overcooked fish, tinned and non fresh side dish Service (reception, Bar, Transport) with too few ressouces & staff for large property. It seems the owners try to maximize profit by...
