Flight from SJO to PJM , then either a taxi , or collectivo to look out inn . Quite a few visitors had hired cars and driven from PJM , and some had even driven from SJO , Though it would depend on the season ,and would need a 4x4 . If you fly both airlines are good , nature air has the greatest weight allowance , useful for camera gear , depending on what ticket you buy. May should be a great time to visit , should be lots of scarlet macaws about , and I mean flocks of 20 - 80 !
We loved look out inn , and I hope you manage to arrange a trip

Hi there, when we stayed at lookout there was a couple who did day tour through park with guide. Quite a hike, they said!it was 24km, hot, up and down. Terry suggested to us (as we were traveling with two kids 4 and 7) to do just the monkey walk starting from end of airstrip to entrance of park and back on the beach. As beautiful, monkeys, frogs, birds, turtle nests, and you might even be lucky to see a puma out there ... But you can decide after arriving, you might decide not to go anywhere ... So beautiful ... I think guide was 60$ per person.
