What a great place to stay with a family- including my 90 year old mother! Pool was wonderful, and people were very helpful. Saw toucans and macaws regularly and howler monkeys greeted us with their calls in the early morning. Our kids were able to drive down to local beaches to go surfing and near by restaurants are available. The...

This property is hidden in the mountains and difficult to access-hence the 4 stars, not 5. It is, however, one of the most magical and lovely places i have stayed. If you need nightlife and non stop adventure this is not the place for you. If you can make your own adventure there are plenty of things to do-a lovely...

While planning our trip to the Dominical area, we had read some good reviews of the Osa Canopy Tour. This adventure did not disappoint!! We took an 8am tour which was cooler than the afternoon tour. We had several guides. They were very helpful, taught us what we needed to do to have a safe zip, and were great with...

We enjoyed the wonderful organic gardens, the cool pool and the warm and friendly people. We hiked to a waterfall and watched other's fly by on the zip line. The sunsets over the pacific from the mountain are spectacular. The 20-30 minute drive up to the resort can be a bit scary if you are not used to driving steep,...

We stayed two nights at Osa Mountain Village when we were checking out its sister development - Serenity Gardens Eco Village. We had a very comfortable cottage right near the zip line (it was fun watching adventurers "zipping" by our veranda). As mentioned by others, the staff is excellent as is the food. There was a dinner served one evening...

We stayed in one of the villas for a few days. Very comfortable and up-to-date villas. We had been staying in some typical Costa Rican hotels, nice but not like in America. OMV is just like being in America, except your backyard is a Jungle!! And your views are incredible. The road up to it is not an easy or...

Thank you Deb for the great review. I do want to comment on the road situation which has been steadily improving. While I always recommend people to get a 4 x 4 when visiting Costa Rica and traveling around, our road has had a lot of work done on it lately and it is 2 wheel drive accessible now. I...

I stayed at OSA Mountain Village for 3 months in 2014 and it really is a little slice of heaven. Nestled into a jungle up on a mountain, the villas are spacious, modern, and are fully equipped with everything you need to have a relaxing stay. We woke up to howler monkeys in the morning and watched toucans fly over...

A wonderful trip to OSA Mountain Village. Surrounded by jungle, woken up by the sounds from monkeys and toucans and other local birds. An enjoyable canopy tour. Easy access to beautiful waterfalls. Great bargain.

OMV Resort is a super special place. We were surprised by the quality and spaciousness of the villas within the jungle! Toucans overhead, sloths on the back porch railing, the call of howler monkeys, wow! The Resort itself is a bit rustic and eco friendly - with gorgeous organic gardens, a zip line, and delicious family style meals served daily...

WOW!!! Thank you Pat. We truly appreciate it when people take the time to write such a wonderful review... and great tips and advice too. I would say the A/C is a personal choice though. While many people are comfortable without A/C much of the year I personally tend to sleep hot and use it to cool down my bedroom...
